Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion by Robert B. Cialdini

5.0

Influence’s rate of persuasive five stars portrays my intense and bold recommendation for the book. We often hear the advice of learning to say no but have you ever thought of analyzing the factors on why you agreed and said yes? This brilliant thought was the main focus of this book and I believe everyone, reader or not should learn these six principles of influence and how to spot people who use these strategies.

The strengths of the book are its easy and engaging writing approach inducing a page-turning experience, magnificent and superb demonstration of the six principles by providing real, authentic, and conceivable case studies and researches, and the gratifying presentation of the ways on how to prevent the exploitation of these influences. Its only weakness is its lack of variety examples as most of them are based on business.
