This book was okay. The plot seemed interesting, and i guess it could say it was, but the ending kind if threw it for me. It was ‘alright’ overall. If youre prone to anxiety from a book, i would pass

I was veeeeeery hesitant reading this book because I read “Stalking Jack the Ripper” by the same author and that was an atrocity to mankind—but i had already purchased this book at that point so i decided to give it a shot anyways, and im glad i did! The book isnt a literary masterpiece, but it was fun and interesting. I love the theme of the 7 deadly sins, which is a plot i havent heard any other authors using (unless there is a whole genre out there im not aware of 👀). I had fun reading this book (and reading about Wrath 🫢) and will continue the rest of the series!

This series was so fun and made me feel like a teenager picking up YA again. I definitely see why it was so popular! I will say that the last book, “Cress”, did feel slow at certain points, and maybe didn’t need to be ~600 pages, but the rest of the series is pretty solid and there is limited filler. I loved these diverse characters and the spin on classic fairytales. Meyers’ writing is simple enough that you can enjoy this series even if you’re too exhausted to read.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 28%.
I couldnt anymore! This was my first Sanderson read and i reaaaaally wanted to like it but just couldnt. The characters annoyed me, and the plot was moving at a snails pace due to the constant 4th wall breaking and narration—which was supposed to give princess diaries, but just didnt!

I FINALLY had time to finish this book lol. This series is so fun! I wouldve eaten this up in high school, so its very healing for my teenage self. The writing is perfect in the sense that if i want to read a book but dont feel like thinking too much (bc fantasy can be tough on world building sometimes) its great. Nothing too much, so i find myself reaching for this series instead of scrolling thru tiktok

This book was allllrigghhtt i guess. Its very stereotypical Grumpy Sunshine trope, so if you’re in the mood for something cliche, this is a good go to. I was pleasantly surprised by the FMC. Usually, when the third act breakup happens, the forgiving is quick, but she held her ground!! I was so proud. All in all, it was okay, but im glad i didn’t spend more than a day on it.

Miss Preston’s books are so perfect for a stormy day like today, where i could (and did literally today) just curl up and read a book in one sitting. They are easy to read and addictive! I’m slowly but surely making my way through her published list

Such a good read for when you just want clear writing that just spells everything out for you. I read this at the perfect time bc i couldnt be bothered to read a thought provoking book or something with insane world building, and it kept me entertained too. Will def be reading the rest of this seriesss
