writing this review right after i finished the book, so i haven't basked myself in all the possible reflections i could've learn from it had i sat on this longer. but this book tugged my heart in more ways than one.

i am not the most family-oriented person, but i sure have loved my family more than i dislike them. being asian that meant i had the most normal relationship with my family. but this made me reconnect to the idea of family in a way i did not know until i read this book (i can't even explain it by words, but i know it by heart).

life is fleeting & it's sad to think that it is only when confronted with death that we appreciate it. but it makes sense. and i will forever hold this book close to me for letting me discover grief that has been sitting on my heart i never knew existed.
