Wow, I decided to go in blind for this book (minus the trigger warnings) honestly I'm so glad I did. I loved the dual narration done for this audiobook. I feel like both narrators gave differences to the characters that I as a reader could feel. As for the author themselves this is the first book I've read written by them. Though this book deals with VERY dark and deep subject matter I feel the author has written the act of healing and (for the lack of a better term) PTSD very respectfully. In more ways than one these characters grow together and it's done beautifully.

Fantasy, Gods, Incarnation & Assassins what's not to like? The world building is extensive but not too  confusing to understand. The world built around these characters and the dynamic given to us as readers is something I'd call authentic and probably the most creative I've seen in a while. I was not disappointed at all with this book and I'm excited to see where we go next.

This is a romance book that is also a breathe of fresh air. A lot of the time I read a book with a disable character there's almost always going to be some type of stereotype within the book. This book in my eyes does living with a chronic illness very well. This is really a simple story of a person with a chronic illness living life; understanding that even with a chronic illness where things can change on a dime that love is something everyone should be able to experience.  It also shows that no matter what you've been through you can take that energy and make it into something beautiful.

Again a small town romance just pulls me in without fail. A lawbreaker and the small town sheriff, definitely not two peas in a pod. But they definitely make sparks together. Brady is a man who is a person with layers, each locked hidden from the world. I loved his character because he’s a sheriff of a small town, he knows everyone he has to technically it’s his job. The very put together exterior can come down after a little work with a pry bar from a vibrant firecracker of a yoga instructor. It’s truly a simple story that also pulls at the heart strings.

Praise by Sara Cate is not only a hot book it's a book that has moments that have  stuck with me deep in my core. Is Emerson her ex's dad? Yes.  But if he can show her what it's like to be LOVED and cared for correctly then who am I to judge. Emerson shows Charlotte that she's worth everything and more, he shows her that she doesn't have to make herself small to be in spaces with others. Being the owner of a sex club Emerson shows her that sex and what you like during sex isn't something to be afraid of. I also loved how Emerson struggles to not get close to  Charlotte but later on also understands that you can't help who you fall for.

Briseis & Marie are a back for round 2 with the Greek goddess Hecate and many others in this wholesome but epic conclusion to this duology. This story is filled with love, family ties, grief, growth, acceptance and so much more. Can this book break your heart? Yes. Can it put it back together? Absolutely.

Even though this book is one of my favorite reads of the year so far it took me a bit to get into. The story on how Zetian offers herself to the government as a pilot just to avenge her sister's death at the hands of this very government. Once it gripped me, it never let go. Zetian will stop at nothing to get revenge no matter who gets in her way.

Aurora has been through a lot recently and decides to go back to her hometown to recharge. She decides to rent a garage apartment, all good right? Technically it should be but the man she is renting the garage apartment from doesn't know she's coming to shake up his life. Tobias Rhodes isn't what I'd call cold hearted just guarded. Focusing on being there more for his son Amos, other than that he keeps his head down. Slowly but surely Tobias and Aurora begin to form a friendship understanding that their two personalities together can make something beautiful. I absolutely loved Aurora and Rhodes together, I completely and utterly adored Rhodes son, Amos. I loved the bond he had with Aurora and how he and Rhodes were together. It was so special.

Charlotte is trying to rid her life of everything to do with her cheater of an ex. First thing to do is get rid of her unused wedding dress. Unfortunately that doesn’t go to plan. So instead she exchanges it for another dress, that dress has a note and story of its own that’ll change Charlotte’s life forever. Reed is a cold hearted business man who has sworn off love after heartbreak. When Charlotte walks into his life they absolutely can’t stand each other. Instead of writing “love” notes to each other they write hare notes. Going through many things together Charlotte starts to understand that her cold hearted boss may not be so cold hearted after all.

Elliot, Oliver & Rhett three men with a dark past that brought them together. Three men who thrive in darkness. Wren a bookworm whose life will change in the course of a weekend all because of the three men in question. I love that in a way the author shows that no matter how dark if you're willing to let the light in it can change everything. While there are questions left unanswered this read is short, spicy and a bit sweet.
