I wanted to like this more. I was hoping for so much more on how she escaped but the author seemed to just want to get it over with. I didn’t particularly like the ending either. It took away from what she went through and totally switched the focus and almost turned it into a totally different book for me.

Oh my god, this was awful. I knew it wasn’t going to be a 5 star read before I read it but I had to skim through the second half of the book. Why was it so long?? Why so much cringy, unrealistic dialogue and unnecessary filler? I’m too old for this shit.
