Everyone, please do yourself a favor and add this to your TBR stat! I devoured this in two days and I cannot get over how freaking good it was. How in the heck is this Katie's debut novel?! SHE KILLED IT! I already have an extensive list of book boyfriends, but Cam? Katie pretty much said "hold my beer" because Cam Connelly walked right up to the front of the list.
This book has everything: humor, witty banter, spice, romance, emotional elements, and unforgettable characters.
Oh, and the tension? Gosh, does Katie do a great job making you feel it between Joey and Cam. The chemistry between these two is off the charts and their communication when it did come to their intimacy was beautiful.
I lost track on how many times I smiled, kicked my feet, laughed and felt immense joy with all the small references made throughout the book. I honestly donβt think Iβm going to get over how dang good this book was anytime soon!
Thank you so much to Katie and her team for the ARC π

I ended up downloading this gem on a whim and I am so glad I did! This was my very first Meghan Quinn book and I freaking loved it. It was funny, heartwarming, spicy, and had me feeling all the feels. I enjoyed the banter and the group text messages, especially while listening to the audiobook.
Since this was book four in the series and my first read from it, I wasn't familiar with the team, but needless to say, I fell in love with them. As for Halsey Holmes? This man has my heart and he is now up there as one of my favorite book boyfriends. I swooned so much from this man and how much he cares for Blakely. He's also a prime example of how it's always the quiet ones because the mouth on this man? Holy.
Guacamole.
Quotes:
"It's Blakely. It's always been Blakely. It will always be Blakely."
βSheβs it for me. Sheβs mine. And Iβll spend every waking hour making sure she knows that.β
βThe man who would barely talk to me, who likes to have his nose stuck in a book, had the dirtiest mouth Iβve ever heard.β
βItβs because he has the girth-o-nater. He doesnβt have to say anything, just wield that thing like the goddamn orgasmic weapon that it is.β

This was a cute read filled with a ton of laughs. Not only is this a romcom, but there are a lot of emotional moments as well. Also, the banter between Jane and Lucien was perfection! I absolutely loved Lucien and the emotional growth we see throughout the book. By the end, he had me swooning completely. I do wish we had more chapters from his POV because I absolutely loved getting inside his head. As for Jane, I really loved her outlook and body positivity. There were moments I struggled with her (more so with their trip to Paris), but the speech she gave to William?! Now that was the Jane I loved. This book is on the longer side and I do think it could have been about 100 pages shorter.
Nonetheless, Kate did a wonderful job showing how their relationship evolved from coworkers to lovers, but more than anything, showing a beautiful friendship.
Thank you so much to Kate and her team for providing me with an ARC π

Elsie Silver will forever be the reason for my love of small towns and cowboy romances. Since I first read this back in July of last year, I have reread it three times and each time I do, I fall more in love with Willa and Cade. Willa is a firecracker and I love how she speaks her mind and is so unfiltered. Then you have Cade, the grumpy single dad that is closed off and sometimes doesnβt even know how to communicate with those around him. However, this man right here is undeniably the most thoughtful and caring person. Their relationship had me kicking my feet, laughing, and smiling so damn much from the very first time they met to the last page. And their banter? It was fun. It was witty. It was everything I love and more. Also the spice in this book? When the slow burn turns into full burn, good lord π₯΅π« Some of my favorite all time spice moments are from this book and with good reason.
If you are looking for a cowboy romance, please do yourself a favor and read Heartless, then proceed to read the rest of the Chestnut Springs series.
Quotesπ:
βAre you insane? You think I went three years without laying my hand on a single person to break my streak with one as exceptional as you and then let you just walk away?β
βI knew you had big dick energy, but this is something else.β
βHow do I look?β I quirk a brow and arch my back. βLike youβre mine,β he growls.

I. Devoured. This. This was my first read from Brooke Montgomery and yβall, I have been missing out!!! This was emotional, sweet, spicy, and the MCs were amazing!! Magnolia is hardworking, unfiltered and has such a fiery personality which I absolutely loved! Tripp is so selfless and caring that you cannot help but fall in love with him. I loved seeing their journey and how their characters developed over time. Their chemistry was off the charts and the attraction was undeniable. Also the banter? SO GOOD!! You best believe I will be reading every single book Brooke writes because I am hooked!
Also, I donβt know what it is with these cowboys and breeding kinks but my lord am I here for it π
Thank you so much to Brooke Montgomery and Love Notes PR for the ARC π

πBabydoll by Thea Lawrence (Book one in the Revolver Duet)
Journalist Phoebe Miller has just been assigned her next big assignment: following rock band sensation Revolver for the next two months. Only problem? Phoebe is well aware that lead singer, Damien Bell, is not a fan of journalists and has a bit of a reputation. How much tension does it take for them to finally break and give in?
This. Was. So. Good. This book takes place in the 80s and from the vibes to the references, Thea does an amazing job making you feel as if you are immersed in that era. Phoebe is not only funny and kind, but she is also a strong and badass FMC. She knows what she wants and what is important to her. Damien definitely lives up to the rockstar reputation, but we find out how much of a teddy bear he really is and how deep his love for those around him goes. Not only that, but he is all for exploring what Phoebe likes/dislikes in the bedroom and having that line of communication open (the spice definitely be spicing). Also, the rest of the band? You honestly cannot help but fall in love with them as well as every other side character (well besides Chris).
Does this end on a cliffhanger? Yes, BUT you will be happy to know that Dollhouse will be available February 20th!!

Inspired by the classic movie Sabrina, Until the Stars Fall is a slow burn, fated-mates tale. Lieke is a human who has served in the fae palace her whole life, but when a violent incident happens with a fae noble, it will never be the same. In an act of self defense, she finds herself before the king sentenced to death. However, the fae prince steps in to save her life. The only way to get out of the death sentence? An engagement between the two and the last time a fae royal took a human bride, it started a warβ¦
First off, I love me some fake engagement/fake dating/marriage of convenience tropes. Thereβs just something from the tensions it builds and the slow burn to realization/full burn that I just cannot get enough of! And this? This most certainly has that and I ate it up! Lieke is a feisty ray of sunshine while Conner is a grumpy, yet secret hopeless romantic that yearns to find his mate. There is plenty of banter and the chemistry between the two is evident.
Overall, I found this to be a fun read and I enjoyed seeing the Sabrina parallels. This story is romance focused, filled with slow burn and plenty of tension, while being lighter on the fantasy side.
Thank you so much to Vanessa Rasanen and Netgalley for the eARCπ
Until the Stars Fall will be available February 13th so be sure to check it out!!

Do you like cinnamon rolls in the streets but bossy in the sheets? If so, l'd like to introduce you to Caleb Alvarez. This was my first read in the Lovelight series and boy did this not disappoint. These two were so dang cute, it drove me crazy.
Both Layla and Caleb have not had the best track record with dating so they come up with a simple proposition: date for one month, no strings attached. Layla will rate Caleb's dating game while Caleb shows Layla how a man should treat her. But what happens when things start to heat up and the month comes closer to an end?
Although this is book three in the series, I would say it could be read as a standalone. However, you will encounter spoilers from the first two books. I will DEFINITELY be going back to read the first two because I need more of this series!
Quotes:
"Why are you giving these guys your time? Why are you settling for crumbs when you deserve the whole damn cake?"
"You're bossier than you let on." His laugh is a dark, wicked thing-warm air against my neck as he leans over me. "You have no idea."
"I think I've been falling in love with you for a while, Layla. One butter croissant at a time."

Liz Tomforde has done it again and given me a new book boyfriend (and baseball daddy): Kai Rhodes. Kai is the starting pitcher for Chicago's MLB team and a single dad who is having a difficult time balancing the two. After firing another nanny, his coach comes up with a solution. Enter Miller Montgomery: professional pastry chef and Max's new nanny. Oh, and she also happens to be the coach's daughter.
I'm a sucker for forced proximity and a single dad/nanny trope and this book did not disappoint! I enjoyed the banter between Kai and Miller as well as the precious moments with Max (who is also the cutest and sweetest little boy ever).
Seeing their bond grow over the course of the summer and Kai's love for Max and Miller was just π₯Ή This has become
one of my favorite books and I cannot wait for the next installment of the series!
There are cameos from the previous two books so if you're wanting to read this as a standalone I would keep that in mind for spoilers. I highly recommend the entire series though if you haven't already read it!
Quotes:
"I like to see pretty girls in my jersey. Like to take it off them too.β
"You promised to help me find my balance in life. I thought I'd try to help you find your joy."
"Because when life or work gets too stressful, too overwhelming for me, l'm able to see who matters most. And that's you, Miller.β
