This book was SO freaking good. From the very beginning I was pulled in and fell in love with Sally and Wyatt. Heck, the prologue alone was already pulling at my heartstrings and I just couldn't put it down. These two have been friends for twenty-plus years and you could feel their love for one another through the pages. After not having the best relationship experiences, Sally has internalized that there must be something wrong with her and who better to go to than her best friend? With their chemistry and all the tension, expressing their true feelings for one another was inevitable. I also loved seeing their journeys. Wyatt was always afraid to be vulnerable, but with Sally, he was able to open up to her about the loss of his mother and all the grief he endured from it. It was so special seeing this happen throughout the book. Just as Sally helps Wyatt open up, he helps her gain her confidence back in life and realize her own self worth.

EXCUSE ME MA’AM, BUT HOLY. FREAKING. GUACAMOLE. I think I might have a thing for adopted uncles because jfc uncle Storm has me feeling some type of way. Like, seriously Elliott?! It didn’t help that I’ve been traveling the past two weeks and had to sneak away to read this because my poker face was seriously tested. I may have blushed a few times and it has been a long while since a book has done that. The tension between Briar and Storm was off the charts and their chemistry was so good! This was my first read by Elliott Rose and it most certainly will not be my last. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!!

I really loved learning more about Waylon’s and Harlow’s past. I did not expect it to be as heavy as it was, but Brooke did a great job addressing such sensitive themes. While I love a good age gap romance and spice lessons, I had a hard time with Harlow and how naive she was. It was almost as if she were a young teenager instead of a twenty year old. I completely get being inexperienced, but it was if she knew absolutely nothing (even though she has an older sister and an experienced best friend). The pacing also threw me off a little bit because some parts felt too rushed, especially the ending.

While this wasn’t my favorite of the series, I enjoyed the background it provided, especially with the twins. It has me looking forward to Wilder’s story and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for him.

This was a perfect holiday romance that gave me all the Hallmark vibes. It was cozy. It was sweet. It just made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I absolutely love a single dad romance and this book did not disappoint. I adored the relationship between Nate and his daughter Sophie. And Sophie? This little girl was the BEST and gosh she was so freaking cute. I mean come on now, her only Christmas wish was for her dad to marry the real life version of her favorite doll (ahem hello Jules, we’re looking at you).

Then we have Jules and Nate. The connection between these two was undeniable from their very first night together and then again almost a year later when they run into each other thanks to the one and only Sophie. Jules has always been the hopeless romantic, but after a misunderstanding with Nate, she had sworn off love and built a wall around her heart. This doesn’t deter Nate though and he’s not one let his second chance with Jules pass him by.

If you’re looking for a sweet holiday romance filled with romance movie references and hallmark vibes, then you need to check this one out!!

Since finding her books earlier this year, Devney Perry has become one of my all time favorite authors. If she writes it, I’m sure as heck buying it no matter what. I’ve loved every single one of her books that I’ve read and Sunlight? Devney freaking SLAYED it.

I don’t know what it is about the accidental pregnancy trope, but I am feral for it. And this book? Devney did it SO well!! Ava Erickson and Stephen Dexter did a phenomenal job bringing Sasha and Jax to life. I felt every emotion and was fully immersed in their unexpected journey to parenthood.

From the very first chapter I was obsessed with Sasha and Jax. I could not, like seriously could not, stop smiling at their meet cute. The chemistry between them was so good and their banter? Perfection. I could not get enough of it and it made me ridiculously giddy. When Sasha finds out Jax is her soon to be boss, she puts up her walls and does all that she can to ignore the handsome cowboy. However, one night changes everything and she can no longer ignore him. Sasha is determined to keep her walls up and be independent, but Jax is there for her. He’s patient and so caring, but he’s also not one to hold back how he feels. Seeing them form such a deep connection and opening up to one another was beautiful. And when Jax opened up about Lily? Gosh did my heart break and the dams broke loose. This book seriously made me feel all the emotions and I loved every single second of it.

This book was incredible and absolute perfection. I loved everything about it and could not put it down once I started. I did not expect to feel so many emotions, but boy did I. I cried. I laughed. I smiled uncontrollably. I was stupidly giddy. I felt it all and Samantha did that. She truly gave us a beautiful story and two absolutely amazing characters. Julie and Asher complimented each other so well and became each other’s best friend. The way Asher was there for Julie and provided a safe space for her was so special. He made my heart happy and made it melt with his thoughtfulness. Then the way Julie was there for Asher? Gosh, was I an emotional mess in the best way.

This was my very first read by Catherine Cowles and I really loved it! I took one look at the tropes and was sold. I really do love myself a grumpy x sunshine trope, but then toss in a single mom?! This book delivered that and so much more! Once I started, I just couldn’t put it down! It had the perfect amount of romance, slow burn to spice, mystery and suspense that I kept telling myself “just one more chapter” and then next thing I know, I’ve devoured the entire thing. Roan is closed off, but that slowly starts to change once Aspen and Cady enter his life. And Cady?! This little girl stole my heart and then proceeded to melt it. Then with that epilogue? Yep, total swoon city over here.

Do I know anything about music other than I like listening to it? Nope. Did I thoroughly enjoy reading about a violinist and cellist fall in love? Heck yeah I did! It was written beautifully and how the music was woven within their love story was perfection. I love a good slow burn with forced proximity and this delivered. The tension between Alex and Gwen was well done and when the spice hits? Good lord was it good. I don’t think I can look at a cello the same way again.

Where the heck do I even begin?! This book had me in a chokehold and I could not put it down. Before this, I had never read an MC book but let me just say: I want more!! Factor in the dark elements and suspense and this book was just perfect.

Gabriel Wolfe. This. Man. This morally dark grey, obsessive, possessive, and unhinged man. I freaking loved him and the things that would come out of this man’s mouth. Gabriel is down bad for Brinley and the things he does to show it 😮‍💨

Brinley Beaumont. Our good girl turned biker queen. After finding herself inextricably bound to Gabriel, she finds a strength in her she never knew and starts to discover who she truly is. She had so much growth throughout the book that I absolutely loved! She wasn’t afraid to push back and became a total badass.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. Besides the basics, I honestly didn’t know much about polyamory but I felt that the author did a great job of informing readers on it through Mel, Bebe, and Kade’s relationship. I loved how well the communication was between the three of them and seeing their relationship develop. As for the characters themselves, I did wish for a bit more depth that went beyond their jobs. We got bits and pieces, but I just wished those areas had been explored more.
