Each chapter focuses on a new case to solve. It was really fun to try and see if I could figure it all out before Sherlock announced what really happened. 
One of my favorite cases was “The Red-headed League.” I really didn’t see that ending coming.

the child abuse is done to a Native American boy who was taken from his family against his will. This was extremely common but is never really talked about so I’m glad to see it mentioned. At the back of the book, more historical context about the Native Americans’ situation during those times is explained. Fortunately, it is a happy ending and the boy is reunited with his father
