Emily Henry has never missed for me. When I began reading this one, I felt a little sceptical because I wasn’t able to get over the fear that maybe this one just might not be for me. I saw so many people loving it, but I also saw a lot of people giving out reviews that were not to my liking and they kept saying how this seemed less of an Em Hen book somehow? Another reason being that I loved Happy Place so much last year when I read it, there hasn’t been a day where I haven’t thought about Wyn and Harriet. I have loved them so dearly for the last year or so, in a way that I haven’t loved any other character. I have thought about them nonstop for the better part of the year and that just got me in my biggest reading slump yet. To think that anyone or anything could even come close to how Happy Place made me feel, was a difficult for me to understand/accept. And that made me so scared to read this one.
The fear got to me for the first 15-20% of the book because I kept connecting and disconnecting to parts of it and it was becoming very difficult for me to continue reading because of this and the fact that I was travelling while I was reading this book (my mistake). However, as soon as I got over my funk I started to really connect with Daphne and her issues. The way Emily humanises her characters, I can always see bits and pieces of me in every character of her. The chemistry between Daphne and Miles was wild and the way that Miles just always stood up for Daphne and was there and showed up no matter what, warmed my heart in a way nothing could have. Emily Henry will always write about men who can heal me in a way that nothing else can.
After reading Funny Story, I do know that even though Wyn and Harriet will have the number 1 spot for me no matter what, Daphne and Miles are special and close to me in a way nothing else can be as well. And I have loved this book just as dearly and as deeply as I have always loved Emily Henry books. She just always does it for me. She will get me out of my reading slumps only to put me in one. She will make me feel things that I don’t want to or don’t know I can feel.
She will always surprise me with how much more I can love her writing every single year and she has never, once disappointed me.
This one definitely gets the one of the top spots for me thsi year.❤️

I'm rating this entire duet 4 stars! ⭐
I'm not going to say I had a fun time reading this, cause I was so so so angry the entire time I was reading it. It made me so sad, so tired, so exhausted, so angsty.... I just felt too much
But that is exactly what I expected from it.
I have never read a book duo faster than this. As soon as I finished book 1 at 1 AM I started book 2 and finished that one equally fast as well
I was so intrigued by Lennon and Mason's stories. Individually and together. Their stories were woven together so beautifully.
I cried with them, I cried for them, and after a certain point I wanted to throw my ipad against the wall.
But in the end, it all ties together and I was so so so happy for them.
I always know I can Logan's recommendations and this one didn't disappoint AT ALL.
Also, the redeeming arc for Sam was soooo fucking good and I cannot wait to read her book (maybe in a few weeks, cause I need a break from this pain and headaches).
(P.S : It did give me an actual migraine from all the pain it caused 🙂)
I have also heard people rave about the audiobooks and how they're sooo nice so I would recommend listening to the audiobooks maybe if you want to get into these books, and love audiobooks.

Such a cute, swoon-worthy book!! I had such a fun time reading this. I have never read a book on rowing so that was such a new fun thing to read about. I was so giddy during some of the parts, I was literally giggling while kicking my legs in the air... I had such an amazing time reading this book. I do think that it could've been a little shorter.... But there are no other complaints from me. This was my first Lulu Moore book but definitely not the last!

I wanna thank Kels and Denise for giving me the opportunity to be on their ARC team. It's an honour!!

This book was everything you want a perfect second chance, single parent romance to be. It was swoony, with so much chemistry and such well written spicy scenes - I had to fan myself at one point (i.e the kitchen scene🤭😉)!
Honestly, ever since I have read Water Under The Bridge, I have never for once doubted that Kels and Denise are going to be one of my favourite author duos of all time. Even if I wasn't given the opportunity to be on their ARC team, they would be on my auto-buy list.
It's very bittersweet that this series has come to an end!🥹🥹 But I'm so so so excited for what they come out with next!
I admired Meadow's strength so much, because of everything she had to do for herself to make sure that her life looked just like she would've wanted (although life had different things in store for her).
Ollie was the sweetest, one of the most swoon-worthy book boyfriends ever because he was so so so attentive to Meadow's needs that she did not even have to tell him where she needed him and he was already there. Also, acts of service is my love language and him doing little/big chores for Meadow and getting her wildflowers and doing the little things... It just made me so giddy and my heart warm!
I had such a fun and amazing time reading this and I'm looking forward to what this author duo has in store for us in the future!!!💚

Thank you Netgalley for the ARC!!
I'm a complete wreck and a mess from reading this. One thing that'll always get me is a good second chance romance.
This one tore me apart and pulled at my heart strings in ways I didn't know was possible.
Georgia is me on a page. This play was definitely about me. The way I knew and understood every little or big feeling Georgia felt throughout the book, just made me sob a little too much than I would like to admit. The feeling of longing, of trying to belong to a place, a person... It was so beautifully written. Her character was so beautifully flawed and yet perfect.
Eli, the man that you are. I too, just like Georgia, love you with all that you are. With your flaws, and mess, and imperfections... Because you too, are beautifully flawed 🥺😭😭
The angst, the banter, the tension, the chemistry, the romance... Everything was just PERFECT!!!🥺
Honestly, I finished this book last night (1st April) but I couldn't write a review because I was too much of a mess. I still am. I am so wrecked and heartbroken and still my heart is so full for these two, separately and together.
I love this book so so much and it is definitely going to be a contender for my 'top books I read this year'.
Please go read this book, as soon as it comes out. And if you don't like second chance romances, who knows, maybe this one will change your mind!!?💕💕

Thank you for the ARC Abby Jimenez and little brown book group.

Honestly, I don't think Abby Jimenez ever misses. Her books are sooooo comforting, it's like a warm hug to my soul. She does it every single time for me. For me, Yours Truly was one of the top books I read last year and I never thought anything could top it after that. But she proved me wrong. We're gonna have an Abby Jimenez book again for the top books pf the year list and I'm not in the least bit surprised.

This book was so so good. The plot, the execution, the writing.... Everything was done was damn well. It was hilarious, cute, a little emotional, touching and had so much romance that it made my heart ache with longing.

Justin is the kind of man you hope to have in your soulmate. Funny, kind, attentive... Let us all try and manifest a Justin in our lives!

I have never related to an FMC more. Emma felt the need to always care, always keep everyone around her happy, always choose empathy and had to stop expecting from people because of everything she went through in her childhood. The way she was, the way she thought and experienced things, even the way she became "small" when things didn't go her way... That's exactly how I am and how I become. She is one of the most relatable characters for me. I was so proud of her progress by the end of the book and how far she had come.

Honestly, I wish everyone reads this book atleast once to experience the magic of this book. Because if I had to use just one word to describe how I felt reading this book, it would be exactly that : magical. ✨💕🥺

I wanted angst, I wanted drama, I wanted chemistry, I wanted billionaire romance, I wanted marriage of convenience, I wanted pining... This book gave me everything.
I read so many people's negative reviews on Goodreads, and I see how this book might not be for everyone. However, I totally ate this one up.
Raven made me feel so seen, I felt personally attacked 🤭🤭
Ares.... Oh the man that you are🤌🏼😩 The way he always showed up for Raven, always knew what she was feeling, and ALWAYS reassured her with patience and so much love... It made my heart ache from how amazing he was to her (aside from the times he went to Hannah that is)...👀
I honestly enjoyed this book way more than I expected to. I don't remember the last time I finished a book in one sitting, but God it felt nice to have that kind of feeling back... To want to finish a book so desperately (in a good way) that I read in one sitting.
Cannot wait to read more books in the series.

Also, I was so attracted to Silas... Makes me feel like I should read his book as well🤭🤭
