Umm... No words!!! I am in LOVEEEEE WITH THIS BOOK! Lo and Lily and my heart 🫶🏻🫶🏻❤️❤️🥺
Their personal battles, their friendship, their relationship... Everything made them soooo special for me. The way they both were the centres of each other's universes always and the way that they both always took care of each other no matter what.... It warmed my heart so much.
Also, Connor and Ryke being the perfect friends for Lo and Lily made me so happy.
The end broke me a little!! But the way that this entire series will become my life for the next few months (while I read it) and then it'll be all I talk about for my entire life(after I've read it)... I just know it!
I'm so excited to read this series. I know they'll consume me whole and wreck me from the inside..! I'm so ready for this!!

I loved loved loved this book. Charlie was such a refreshing charscter to see in a book because she accepted her flaws and ran with it. The way she handled everything, and accepted her imperfections.... It was a treat to read about her. Reading about her also hit a little close to home since I saw a lot of myself in her and the things she wanted from her life.
William. William. William. The man that you are🤌🏻🥺... Where can I get a guy like him? He listened to everything that Charlie said she wanted in a life partner and became exactly that... He did everything he could to show her he loved her and in so many different ways too. The notes? The coffee? The pen-click thingie?? Everything was so cute🥺💕
Charlie and William had so much chemistry between them... And it hurt sometimes because the book was a slow-burn and Ella knows how to deliver a slow burn. I wanted to yell at them sometimes because they were turning a blind eye on their chemistry and connection and it bothered me so much😂😂
Ella Maise never fails to give a hit. She's an auto-buy author for me now!!!
Also, she never fails to raise my expectations and standards in men!!!

It was good. I remember it being a little too long. But the premise of the book was really good. It had the potential of a 5 ⭐ - definitely. But I did keep thinking that it was unnecessarily long. The abuse rep in the book... It's done so perfectly. It hit me so close to heart. I was aching for Iris. My heart was aching for her so much. Her journey of healing, choosing herself, meant so much to me.
August... This man has me convinced that there are no men like him in the real world. Fictional men do it like no one. He was perfect for Iris.

To say that this was one of the best romances I've ever read would be an understatement. I love reading romance for all the grand gestures and big love confessions and everything that feels like such a showy way of proving love. And don't get me wrong, I love that part. Billionaires giving off their Black Amex Cards? Love it. Hockey Player proposing to his girlfriend in a stadium full of people during a game? Love it. I love every part of such big declarations of love and grand gestures that are shown in romance books.
But this book was so different. It was one of the first books for me where I actually appreciated the quiet love. Where I could acknowledge it and it felt good to read about. Sometimes, the grand gestures take so much space in our heads that we forget about the little things. This book does an amazing job of reminding us about the little things that matter in love. How love doesn't need words to be proven and how by the simplest of actions it can be felt.
I love Ryan so much and he's so high up there on my fictional boyfriend list that I have no words for him. If I could only order him somewhere... 💳💥💳💥💳💥
I could relate to Indy in so many ways and that made me want to give her the biggest hugs. She was a fierce, emotional, and mature woman with so much care and love in her heart.❤️
Liz Tomforde wrote their story so beautifully that you'll end up falling in love with them individually, and them together as a couple too. They had so much chemistry and such a good understanding between them... My heart was so happy the entire time..🤍
