I couldn’t put this down! About 33% of the way through I thought I had this figured out and I was very mistaken! The climax of the book threw me for a loop and then just when I thought it was over the epilogue gagged me further! I deducted .25 because the main character kept making the dumbest decisions

I have mixed feelings about this book. I was so excited to finish the series, but this book had me contemplating my first DNF. I made it through but honestly, this was a prime example of too much smut and not enough plot.

Finley started out as a brilliant and stubborn FMC and she’s loveable! By this book she still held these qualities but she was held back my Nyfain.

The plot of the book had so much potential and I wish it could have been more. The last half of the book was rushed and by the time the climax came it went by far too quickly. So many characters were introduced that they didn’t get enough “screen time.”

I skipped several pages in this book because it was very smut heavy. It left me so disappointed.

This is definitely my top read for 2024! The way the book is written takes you into the world. Raeve is such a relatable character with her flaws and inability to let people in.

The mystery of her past has me on the edge of my seat for the next book! I cannot wait! This is a slow burn but Sarah A. Parker does an excellent job of painting the world around Raeve while casting an allure on what is to come.

I AM SPEECHLESS! What a shock and great way to leave us readers wanting more!

I’d heard mixed reviews prior to reading and I don’t understand how you couldn’t love this book unless the reader was confused.

There are multiple characters and points of view. You don’t know if you love them or hate them. I can’t wait to see what’s next!

For Tracy Wolff to end this series on this note is very disheartening. I fell in love with the characters and looked forward to each challenge they were to face. The plot was anti-climactic, uninteresting at times and kept giving me the feeling that things were just “too easy”. 15% percent of the book is plot driven, 10% character development, & 75% Grace telling us how much she loves Hudson, her friends and her people.
