Some people act like extroverts, but the effort costs them energy, authenticity, and even physical health.

Seven Brief Lessons on Physics by Carlo Rovelli

I started listening to the audiobook, and I just feel this is a book you need to actually sit down and read as it is pretty well condensed. Personally, I also have very little background with physics which may add to my feeling that I need to take a little more time with this book than I would listening to the audio.  Hopefully, I'll get to come back to this later, since I did enjoy the parts I processed.

This was a really quick read, and I did enjoy it. It's not something I would usually pick up, and it's not incredibly well-written, but it was nice to read something light like this at a time like we are living through now.

Really just couldn't get past the defense of rapists and shallow understanding of what respect is. Almost everything in this book up to where I finished will be triggering for several groups of people, and I didn't have to look him up to know the author was a cis white man because his take on most topics makes that clear, and not in a 'okay, that's you experience' way either. Won't be finishing.

This book would be more useful for people early on in their journey to financial security/independence, but it's helpful to have things reiterated to stay focused anyway. Some sections were dryer than others, but generally it was a decent read.
