I don't have the time or patience for a underdeveloped plot and characters.
sorry, not sorry

Ughhhhhhhhhh insta love is one of the worst tropes. And this was one of the worst cases of insta love I have ever read. Not to mention how predictable this entire book was. *sigh* glad I opted for the cheaper Ebook for this one.
Nope, nope & nope.
I thought I would humor myself and read this (it happens to be my book club pick) and my god it is dryer then a burnt piece of toast.
The sentences are so run on I forget to breathe half the time, and then have to go back and read it a few time over to piece it together.
I think I will stick with watching the Netflix show for this one and hope for the best.

This is everything you would expect from a trashy romance/erotica novel. It is not good by any means... but it is entertaining and a super quick read.
Dirty Billionaire is something that is fun (and funny) to read to break up your regular genre.
I don’t think I’ve laughed so hard at the word “unicorn pussy” in my life. I also don’t think I’ve ever heard that term used. And I sure as hell know if a guy used that term for my *looks down*... I would probably laugh in his face and be unable to continue with sex, no matter the size of his you know what.

Really? you are just going to throw a subpar novel at me with a million loose endings, barely any closure and than an ENDING LIKE THAT.....
I really didn't care for this book...but now... I NEED to know.
ughhh

Ok, I was pleasantly surprised with the plot of this???
Honestly, when you go into a novel like this you expect very little plot and a whole lot of sex. Don't get me wrong, it had its sext smutty moments (which I lived for) but Wicked Grind had an actual half decent story.
lets start off with the PROS
- Wyatt (although there were a few moments where I thought I would have to hate him) was a GREAT character. Yes, he was your stereo typical alpha male...to an extent. Kelsey ends up TELLING him to take charge in the bedroom, that it get's her off. Which he happily obliges. Even though he had said things to her like " I will control you, in front of the camera, and in the bed", He never once followed through unless SHE asked for it, and he would immediately realized the error in his suggestions, saying that he was an ass, and that no one should control anyone, and that she needs to do what is right for her.
- The over all storyline was fantastic. I'm usually not a fan of switching back and forth from present and past, but in this it worked. it provided us that slow burn of what caused Wyatt and Kelsey separate all those years ago, and sort of leave you with the "OH SHIT" reaction once the pieces fell into place.
The CONS
- Kelsey. Kelsey K E L S E Y I don't even know where to begin with her. she wasn't relatable in the slightest. She read more like a child than a 28 year old woman. AND she ran... all the time... for any reason. Tell me, why is it that women in romance run at the sight if ANYTHING. what happened to talking to your S/O??? Is it so hard? no, not at all. ESPECIALLY when two seconds later she is all "I nEvEr ShOuLd HaVe RaN" and then uses her brain... finally. ugh.
- There was a good moment ( and I'm not using the term 'good' positively here) where I thought we were going borderline rapey with young Wyatt. When Kelsey and Wyatt were younger (16/17) they went to a party and Kelsey drank alcohol, and they went to a bedroom. and for the beginning of this sex scene, all signs pointed to Kelsey saying " NO". She hesitated, said she wasn't ready, tensed at everything Wyatt did. All the while he kept pleading for her to have sex with him. Now I have to give Wyatt credit here a bit though too, he STOPED his actions when she said too, and he didn't go further until she gave her consent. yes he pleaded and he pushed too much, I can't justify that, he was 17, he knew better. But he got her comfortable, calmed her, and when she gave verbal consent is when he continued. And not to mention when she yelled stop in the middle of having sex, he stopped completely. so it was saved in the end of the scene, but the beginning of it was a bit uncomfortable, and I ALMOST DNF'd at that point.
Other than that and the cheese factor of the writing (which you expect in this type of book) I really don't have many complaints. It over all was an easy quick read and I sort of want to continue with this series at some point!
