Two parallel worlds, the earth and Ohinyan. On one hand: witches and angel’s fighting to find a way to save the dying sun, on the other hand a girl who just lost the last member of her family.

On this book we see where and how everything began, how the witches found the prophecy that will save Ohinyan from destruction and how only one girl can save it! Alexander is the youngest leader of the angels and he’s been chosen by the witches to go on earth and find the girl who will save Ohinyan from destruction before the third sun is long dead.

This book, as I expected was an amazing work of art, the way its described the angel’s way of dealing with the death is something that gives you goosebumps and you can feel the peace the dying person is experiencing through the process. I advise reading this book after you’ve read the other two because it will make more sense and will clear some things too.

This serie is breathtaking. What can you ask more than fantasy and Greek mythology all at once? I love Greek mythology and I love fantasy, this book has fed my inner child 100%.

The serie takes you to amazing adventures, through heartbreak, disappointment and also the true love. I loved and lived every single page of this books.

The story between Helen and Lucas is the type of relationship that will sacrifice their own happiness for the greater good. The connection between them two takes the books to another level. And also the details on the books are amazing. I love a book that talks to me, grabs my hand and takes me somewhere else outside of this world.

While reading this serie I've often lost time of track and where I am, it sucked me completely to a whole new world, where you learn about sacrifice, the past and the power of love that can conquer all and everything or.. destroy everything.

After losing her mom when she was 12 years old, Riley moved with her grams north of Byron Bay, in the east-coast subtropics of Australia. Her grams is a total believer of superstitions, obsessed with silver jewelry that according to her will keep Riley safe from those pesky demonic predators, even tho for Riley this is all nonsense. Until Seth Callaghan arrives in town.

Every Monday her grandma has a bunch of people coming by, including the family of her best friend, sexy surfer Finn O’Brien discussing superstitions that Riley didn’t want to hear about. However, one day before going to school the atmosphere in her home is changed. There are new mysterious people in her home and her grandma is acting strange. The people are dressed in clothes too long and dark to suit their local weather, their skin is pale, paler than hers and their eyes are so dark, they look almost pitch black. After this encounter everyone tries to keep Riley away from the Callaghan family, especially from Seth.

If at first, you get a feeling of The Vampire Diaries and a mix of Twilight this book surprises you along the way. While the book does start with Riley falling for Seth who’s a succubus-vampire, the book continues with Riley’s journey after finding about the world she’s been living in.

The book did give me some vibes of Twilight and The Vampire Diaries, but the whole story has its own originality. It's the first time when I’ve read about half vampires- succubus, which was such a new addition to an already paranormal romance. While in other books the enemies of vampires are werewolves, in this book the enemies of vampires are the slayers - human beings, fast and strong like the vampires. The book contains a small love triangle if we can call it as such between Riley – Finn – Seth, even tho Finn’s feelings towards Riley are confusing, for her and me as a reader, one day cold one day warm, when with Seth on the other hand, Riley knows her place. Even tho the attraction between Riley and Seth feels at times glamoured, their relationship can’t be denied, you can tell they’ve got strong feelings for each other and are ready to fight for each other.

Sadly the book ended tragically, leaving you yearning to find more of what’s going to happen with Riley, Seth, and Finn. I don’t know what to expect in the next book, definitely, I want more of Finn and Riley, for some reason I picture them together more than I picture Riley and Seth together. I liked the fact the story was told from Riley’s pov so you see her side of things along with the story, but I really wish we could get a Seth’s pov and also Finn’s to find out about their own feelings. While the book had journal add-notations they helped you get a glimpse of the past and the dark secret the family of Riley has been keeping going back to 1,665 when everything ended but also started.

The book is only 231 pages making it a very nice and fast read, at least for me. I’ve read first Love/Luck then I read Pure / Evil to get an idea of the past and how: Slayers, a witch, and vampires ended up working together.

Central Irland 1665, the world is full of demons lurking in the night, preying on the weak and stealing their souls. Cathal marches together with his family towards the devil’s den, armed with silver blades to put an end to their terror. Seth an incubus, a rare vampire-hybrid the Master had created by mistake, battles the insanity as his creator, the king of hell is being murdered.

Pure / Evil is the beginning of everything in anticipation of Love / Luck that continues the story many years later of Slayers, Vampires & a Witch working together. This book has been a short and fast read that I’ve enjoyed fully. I really liked getting a hint of the history of the Slayers how they were “born” and how an incubus, slayers & a witch end up working together and the tradition keeps on going even after 100+ years. This book is a prequel novelette in anticipation of Love / Luck that will be released on January 7, 2021.

I liked finding more about Seth who has been transformed into a vampire/hybrid by the Master Of Fear together with his entire family, and even if the vampires are being seen as demons Seth's family is different and has chosen a different path to live. This book can be found for free on the author's page giving you a glimpse of the past and the horrors people endured before they all gathered together to defeat the demons. This book is amazing, I loved the details, the world-building, the descriptions of everything, and learning more about every single character that we'll meet in Love / Luck many years later.

Ena an orphaned girl lives her usual life in a town called Ilbrea – for her, is the pure definition of hell. Guilds are tormenting the inhabitants of her town, taking what they desire, when they desire, and at all costs. But one day is enough to change someone’s fate and take their innocence away.

Ena is young and lives her normal life in Ilbrea, tending and learning about healing people from Lily, the woman that took her in. Every day is just like any other day, until one day when guilds are ravaging the Ilbrea, killing and burning houses just to teach people a lesson. Caught in the middle of the nightmare and very closed being raped and killed by a pawn of a Guild, she’s being saved by her brother’s mysterious friend – Liam. Liam is a true born of the Black Bloods clan. The power of the mountain runs into his veins making him powerful and with a goal to save the sorcis children from the Sorceress's hands.

This story catches you into a twirl of despair, adventure, and magic from the very first pages. It does contain triggers like attempted rape, murder, and abuse inflicted on people. I loved the details offered in the book, you get to know Ena’s past, present, and somehow her future. Details about the Guilds and what they’re doing and a tiny glimpse of what the Black Bloods cause is and what’s their power and also the legend of the mountains.

The book keeps you on edge, and without knowing what can happen on the next page you’re being caught by surprise more often than not. I loved how Ena pushed back all the old conceptions about women that she’s fragile and should stay at the compound, conceptions coming from her own brother but also Liam. The book contains a lot of important characters including Finn who along the way becomes the best friend of Ena and together they’re doing runs to save the sorcis kids.

The book is raw and takes your heart out and torn’s it to pieces. Ena’s suffering, despair but also the light moments you can feel them, they’re so palpable. The pov is told only from Ena’s side from what she’s gone through to what she’s going through right now.

Once I started reading this book, I got lost in a world full of rage, hate, and magic, with people trying to do good, while others would want to see the world burn just for their own pleasure. Ember and Stone is the 1st book out of 4 from Ena of Ilbrea and it's an amazing epic fantasy book that will keep you hooked from the first pages to the end.

It's her four month of doing the sorcis runs together with Finn, and everything is going well until one night when they’re being attacked by a fierce monster. Luckily for them they were protected by Liam’s black stones but that doesn’t keep the dark feeling something strange is happening.

The 2nd book starts right where the first one stopped. Ena and Finn going on a run to save another sorcis kid, away from the sorceress hands and into their safe compound. For the past four months Ena and Finn have done runs to save sorcis kids and transfer them to the eastern mountains where they would go further away to a safe heaven.

On this book we learn more on how the mountain is acting and how it protects its people with underground tunnels away from privy eyes. This book as the last one has a lot of moments that keep you hooked and lets you guess what’s happening next. I loved the friendship between Ena and Finn and how amazing they worked together. At first I thought Finn and Ena will actually be together, but surprise, Finn loves a man and is just an amazing friend for Ena.

As in the first book Ena is into a men’s world and tries so hard pushing through their conceptions that she’s fragile and might break at any moment from the horrors around her – but she’s fierce, powerful and if the Guilds couldn’t break her, nothing will.

Being in Liam’s company every day makes Ena fall for him and even if he tries to keep her away he cannot deny his feelings for her anymore, leaving his guard down every so often and giving in for the passion. I loved the moments between Liam and Ena, their feelings sparked fire, their passion and love was so steamy and palpable and their love game was exactly what it was missing from the book.

The ending on this books are the perfect ending and the transition from one book to another is smooth and perfect like you’re watching a serie, each book an episode filled with adventure, magic and horrors to keep you awake at night but also to make your heart flutter with love.
