This was my first Freida McFadden book and I see why people love her books.

I read this in about 6 hrs (maybe a little less). It is the perfect binge-able book. In a book slump? This may be your answer.

Though I did guess the twists (and there are a couple) it did not take away from the enjoyment of reading for me. My mouth definitely dropped open or I caught myself saying "what?" out loud.

It would be the perfect beach/vacation read. I'll definitely be reading more from this author.

I read these types of books a lot. I'm always looking for the most off the wall, strange ones. So far this may have topped the list...

It was definitely unique.

I didn't realize this book was 3rd in a series...you don't really have to read them in order but I definitely gathered that it helps some bc there are little spoilers in this book about the previous ones. Nothing super crazy but had I known I would have read them in order.

This book is cute, sweet and a little spicy. It is definitely a slow burn and is light on the spice but it's there. I found myself tearing up a little towards the end when something happens but it was worth it to get to the end.

I enjoyed this book and already bought the other two in the series before I was even 1/2 way through this one. And a 4th book is coming out soon!!

I should have DNF'd this about 75 pages in.

I have to say the concept of this book pulled me in but it was really a struggle for me to keep reading. The only reason I finished is bc it was a bookclub choice.

Overall, the book just dragged on. The same scenes over and over with little payoff was annoying. Nothing plot worthy happens until more than 3/4's of the way through.

There is a magic system of sorts in this book but it's not explained. As well as a background of a major character which left me annoyed as well.

There were too many characters too many details and just too much all around.

The reveal at the end didn't really leave me gasping.

A quick novella with a somewhat spicy age gap. For some reason the daddy/baby bird talk didn't hit for me this time.

Not terrible but so far not my favorite in this series.

My March BOTM pick.

When I saw this book as one of the choices for my Book Of The Month I was intrigued by the synopsis.

When I started reading I definitely thought it was going to go a different way. Even though the book didn't unfold and end up the way I anticipated the way the FMC evolved was interesting to watch/read.

It was a pretty quick and interesting read.

This had to be my least favorite book in the series so far. While the plot does finally start to move along as far as the deviousness of Zion goes it didn't move along enough for me and I almost DNF'D this book.

While I appreciate the author giving one of the MMC an "invisible" disorder and portraying it pretty well. The rest of the book was a bit annoying. I did enjoy Talia's reluctance to stuff in the beginning the fact that these women just wind up accepting everything their husbands like and so wholeheartedly is starting to piss me off a little. These women just happen to fall into a kink lifestyle that they knew NOTHING of and their only source of knowledge is their husbands? If their husbands wanted them to truly get comfortable and gain knowledge with the lifestyle they should be offering them books or access to that knowledge that isn't just coming from them.

I definitely felt like this book in particular dragged on more than it needed too and there were way too many long drawn out sex scenes. Don't get me wrong, I love a good spicy sex scene but this book felt like it was mostly that and nothing else.

I'm going to continue the series to see what happens but I swear if Gideon's book and something doesn't happen with the main plot I'm going to lose my mind.
