I love it when I read a book I know nothing about but someone recommended it and it’s the best thing ever.
I‘m not the biggest Christina Lauren fan but this book was so different from everything else I‘ve read so far by them. Less romcom, but still such a lovely romance. Friends to lovers to heartbreak to reconnecting lovers is just the best trope and I loved Macy and Elliot so much. I read the eBook and I definitely need this book for my shelf now.

This is definitely one of the books I enjoy more and more every time I reread it. The first time I read it I didn’t really understand the characters, thought they’re development could have been better but after reading the whole series I appreciate Charlotte and Jamie in this book because I know there’s development through out the whole series and that’s why I love the characters so much and love reading about them again and again.

Finlay Donovan Is Killing It wasn't everything I hoped it would be but that's totally because I was expecting a different kind of story. I don't even know why because the plot it exactly what the synopsis tells you: woman gets mistaken for a hitman and seriously thinks about doing the job because she needs the money.
Sounds hilarious and yes, it was. Finlay is such a mess but a charming one, even though I needed a few chapters until I really started rooting for her. I also loved Vero a lot, both women together were an amazing duo.
At the beginning I was a bit worried that this would be more romance heavy but it wasn't, Finlay meets two men in this book she's interested in/that are interested in her but it's a smaller part of the plot and I really liked that. The story was suspenseful, not too predictable and just so much fun to read about because as I said, Finlay is a bit of a mess and she's again and again in impossible situations and it was just great to read about her struggling with writing, her family, money problems, relationship problems and the small thing that she may or may not have killed someone.
Overall it was a really great read and after that ending I immediately had to buy the second book in the series.

I didn't expect anything else because I loved both The Love Hypothesis and Under One Roof and obviously Stuck With You isn't an exception. Ali Hazelwood so easily became one of my favorite romance authors. Tbh I'm not the biggest fan of the smut, but I just love the way her female protagonists think, it's so funny and relatable and I don't know, I just love all of her characters. I think I loved Sadie and Erik even more than Mara and Liam. I usually don't like ONS stories because I just don't get this instant attraction that the characters seem to have for each other but uff, it was so well done here. I just finished this a few minutes ago and I already know I'm going to reread this soon.

I only read this because I saw it a million times on Instagram and TikTok and I get FOMO when I don't pick up books everyone is loving, so. Here we are. And I'm actually not mad I read this. The plot was a bit simple and the world building is a bit of a mess but I enjoyed the relationship between Hades and Persephone a lot and just thought it was funny how Hades always thinks he's such a monster etc. etc. when he is the biggest softie.

this book was super long, I barely remember what happened, I skipped some scenes because they were uncomfortable to listen too (the smut was horrible) and the ending? Let's just not talk about the ending. At first a was not sure if I liked it or not but the longer I thought about it the less I like it and I suspect it will ruin the rest of the series for me because it just seems unnecessary.
I also liked every secondary character more than I liked Bryce and Hunt, both are a bit annoying and I was actually happy I didn't had to read from their POV all of the time.
The whole Danika had ten more secrets no one knew about, whoops plot was SUPER annoying and I hated it, especially because no one seemed to question their relationship with Danika which is weird I think. I would definitely be hurt if my best friend was hiding so, so many things from me.
In conclusion, I didn't hate it but also didn't love it and I am curious about the next book but I also worry that I won't like it.
