Who doesn’t love a good Christmas murder mystery book? This gave me all the feels! From wanting to help solve the murder myself to the warm, cozy, Christmas vibes. I truly enjoyed it! I will definitely be looking forward to more books by the author since this was my first time.

Amy is 41 years old with 5-year-old twins married to Richard. Richard is putting together to Nutcracker play for most of the book. His mother ends up visiting and discovering what true happiness is and she makes a big life decision.

Amy is a curious detective and she is not a legitimate detective. She goes around gathering information to help solve the mystery.

Unfortunately, Amy’s brother-in-law ends up being the main suspect. So while she’s trying to help solve who did it, she’s also trying to clear his name.

When Amy gets too close to solving it and receives a threat herself. That doesn’t stop her from trying to capture the real suspect.

When the mystery is solved right on Christmas Eve. I was not expecting it to be that person. I had two people in my head that I assumed it was and I was completely wrong.

If you have Christmas books or murder mysteries. You will love this!

I fell in love with this book! If you’re looking for a rom-com to check out, definitely grab this!

Ophelia is a fashion journalist who attends a holiday party where she clashes with Adams who is an outdoors journalist that spills red wine on her dress. From there, they are enemies but we all know that love is always in the air.

They end up on a work trip together that ends up changing both their lives.

Adams's siblings and dad were great and I was happy to see his mom come around. They made Ophelia feel like she had a true family.

Adam is simply amazing. He’s so caring, the wonderful birthday surprise, standing up to his mother and the postcards.

I could not put this book down. If you love enemies to lovers, one bed, or workplace romance then you will love this book.

“The Lotus will bloom into the most magnificent flower, even when its roots are in the murkiest of waters.”

The books that break your heart but put it back together are my favorite and this was one of them!

Sydney is a graphic designer who builds websites for authors but painting is her real passion. 22 years ago her best friend, Oliver, was taken and she hasn’t been the same since.

Gabe is also her best friend, neighbor, and Oliver’s stepbrother. He’s a project manager for a construction company. His family was close to Sydney’s while they were growing up.

Oliver never had it easy. He went missing on July 4th almost 22 years ago but he escaped after a tragedy happened. He has returned home.

Life isn’t easy returning to the real world at 30 years old when it has been missing and hidden since 7 years old in a bunker.

“I loved you then, I love you now, and I’ll love you until my dying day.”

So much heartbreak, loss, and trauma happen in this book. I was laughing so hard when Oliver picked out a snowsuit for her to wear to the bar.
