It was overall a good thriller but I wanted more exploration of revenge versus justice and how the US justice system fails victims. I was also frustrated by how naive the main character was and I was disappointed by the ending. I think it could be enjoyable for some, but this fell flat for me.
emotional funny mysterious fast-paced

There was a good mix of content, but none of the pieces were amazing and only a few stood out.
funny informative medium-paced

Emily Oster writes in a very accessible and nonjudgmental tone. This is a perfect read for anyone interesting in childrearing.

Dewdrop was absolutely adorable; it was written younger than Kay's other works but it still had the same magical feel. The author is great at writing about conservation in a way all audiences can understand and appreciate. I loved this book!

I see now why everyone loves Sally Rooney. This characters are horrible, annoying, self-serving, egotistical crybabies and I related so hard to all of them. Rooney has a very good way of forcing you to look at your own flaws through these characters, it was almost claustrophobic.

It's cute and makes me want to stop and reflect more, but at times it feels like the author does not understand the systemic barriers that make people stressed.

The art is so good, but the story is so boring. It probably would have been better if it didn't get discontinued.

Perfect for anyone interested in the women who shaped science but are often erased from its history. It's formatted so well, the art is stunning, and it's easy to read and digest.

This is an adorable children's book about grief, community, and the environment. It lays complex issues out so well for young audiences and is absolutely magical.
