The plot progresses pretty slowly, but the unique characters make up for it. The idea of the story is really good. The ending is just exciting enough to keep me reading.

This book held my attention all the way rhrough. It's quite amazing to read about the normal lives of students being changed so much, all because of politics. The politic aspects really spoke to me and honestly made me think about life nowadays and how racism is still such a big problem. The way Robin gets radical was quite scary to read but also understandable in a way. Gosh. I'll need to recover from the impact of this book for a while.

Ziva's character development is such a treat to read honestly. The book takes pretty long to get to the action, but the war scenes are well written. Also the love interests!!!!
