Do you think you know Frankenstein because you have seen the green-skinned bolts on neck picture of an evil being constructed by a mad scientist? Then you don't know it at all because the book is vastly different from that in all the best ways. It's sad, tense, dark, and even funny if you have a specific sense of humor.

The story is really intriguing but at some point I felt as if some chapters were dragged out at the beginning and had some pacing issues during the first half of the book, the second half flows through.
This is more of a personal issue, but I do wish we had gotten more answers to the mysteries set up, I understand why it was let that way but I would've loved to learn more about the world and the rest of the characters behind what the main character cared to know.
