an incredible read, a story of genuine passion and intimacy intertwined with a simultaneously heartbreaking and enticing romance that makes it a struggle to stop reading.

this book ponders the meaning of real relationships, of passion, of lust, of what it means to be human in this world.

it follows the film but diverges in many areas to explore the gritty, more intimate moments of importance and to explore Elio’s thoughts upon his surroundings in a way that connects us to our own lives and how we view the world.

10/10.
