After I listened to this audiobook, I came to write my review and was surprised by how many people disliked the writing style. I loved it and felt like this was more than just a book - it was an artistic masterpiece. The writing style was incredible imo, the story was fantastic, and the pacing was perfect. This was immediately added to my favorites list and can't wait to read the rest of the series, including the novellas. I also really liked the narrator's voice and will probably be purchasing all of the audiobooks, as well as the full set of paperbacks and ebooks. That's how much I loved it.
Favorite quote: "Someone picked up the sun and pinned it to the sky again, but it hangs a little lower than the day before."

This book was a good conclusion to the series. Worth reading but I will say that things wrapped up a little too neatly for my taste.
This book was engaging at the beginning but became not so great from around the 25% mark to the 50% mark and was somewhat repetitive, but if you stick through it, from 75% on was a 'stay up until 3am so I know how it ends and immediately download the next book' kind of read. I became emotionally invested in the FMC and had emotional whiplash from the last portion of the book.
I didn't like this book as much as the first, but it was still a good read. I felt like the emotional investment I developed in the first book dampened with this one and the series felt a little too long between the end of this book and the first half of the 3rd book. Still worth reading and continuing on to finish the series.
This book caught my attention right away. The writing style is very different than Shatter Me and in third person rather than first but was still very engaging. I loved both the story and the characters, and found myself rooting for the FMC the whole book. The world building was also very impressive. Highly recommended.
This book wasn't quite as good as the first book, but was still a good read. I found myself conflicted regarding the two potential love interests which dampened my enjoyment of the book and resulted in the missing 5th star.
I loved this book! The multi-POV had a few too many characters imo, but the plot was good enough that it compensated for that. I don't like when stories are too predictable and this one wasn't. It was full of intrigue and the main twist in the plot was a great surprise! I wasn't fully happy about the ending, but the story was so good, I wanted to read more even after it had ended.
Unfortunately, this book wasn't to my taste. The story was ok, but the MC was more juvenile than most MCs that are in the same age range in other books and that put me off a bit. Also, the story was extremely predictable and I was waiting half the book for the FMC to realize what I had already concluded. There were definitely things I liked about the book, but overall it was just too predictable for me.
I was captivated by this book and Jaxon became my newest book boyfriend, BUT the modern-day slang was overused and cringy. It really detracted from my enjoyment of the story. Also, although the ending was nice, it was a little bit of an info dump and I wish certain parts of it would have been explored more. Nevertheless, I found this book addictive and didn't want to put it down.
