This is the only book that I can confidently say the movie was far better than the book. For me the plot was slow and predictable with minimal character developement, which disapointed me as I watched a beautiful movie adaptation first and was excited to read an even more beautiful book. That was not the case. The plot was predictable without much depth and nothing drew me in or made me excited to continue to pick up and read the book. I struggled to drag myself through the book to finish it. I wouldnt recomend.
