I was honestly so perplexed for the first half of this book because I know everyone loves this book but I was so bored but then in true SJM fashion we got to the last 200 pages and I couldn't put the book down and the boredom completely went away!

Why oh why did I put this off for so long??! I'm so glad I can finally say I've finished this series, I really did enjoy my time with Audrey Rose and Thomas! I could have done without all of the unnecessary relationship turmoil in the first half of the book, but overall I had a pretty darn good time and clearly I do love this series. I adored the vibes and general atmosphere of this book, it gave me huge The Diviners feels which I loved!

2. Capturing the Devil ⭐⭐⭐
3. Stalking Jack The Ripper ⭐⭐⭐

TW: Cheating, death of a loved one (parent), death, surgery
- The first 4 chapters of Stalking Jack The Ripper, from Thomas' pov

It's pretty hard to rate this because it's just a short novella, but I definitely had a lot of fun reading this and really seeing how Thomas thinks and processes situations. I think it's safe to say that I put off reading this for so long was because I generally think stories re-written from another perspective are dumb cash grabs BUT, I was genuinely surprised by how much I loved this. I don't think I would be too mad if, down the line, Kerri Maniscalco decided to re-tell these stories in Thomas' pov, or even just write a few more stories from his perspective because this was a lot of fun and I honestly found it really fun and rewarding being able to learn more about him this way.
I don't think this is by any means necessary or compulsory if you want to read the series, but it was for sure entertaining and an interesting read. If you're a Thomas Cresswell fan, or a fan of the series, in general, and you have the chance to pick this up, you should definitely give it a go, especially since it's such a short read.

I have been highly anticipating Beau and Bailey's book since I started the series and I had such high hopes but my god once I realised just how big their age gap actually was (which usually doesn't actually bother me) and when Beau would not shut up about it I won't lie, it did start to bother me a bit. Honestly, I think the fact that Bailey hadn't even started college yet but Beau had already finished a whole-ass career already was just throwing me off.

Honestly, I'm sounding really negative right now but I did really enjoy this one! I genuinely can't believe I only started this series this week and now it's already over. Now what?

Never thought I'd enjoy a book with the surprise pregnancy trope but I guess Elsie Silver is full of surprises 🤷‍♀️ This book felt like it was moving so damn fast which is kind of funny because Theo and Winter were the most slow burn of all the couples so far and I actually really appreciated that. I can't believe there's only one book left in this series!

These two really grew on me by the end of the book but I wish we'd gotten to see them grow together more as an actual couple. My least favourite book in the series so far, but still very good!

"We were the Edens."

Oh, my heart is so full right now. I've put off reading this book all day because I honestly just didn't want this series to end and yeah, my heart is both so heavy and so light right now and I'm struggling to not just start reading the series all over again. I really enjoyed Vera and Mateo's story and watching them get together + watching Vera grow made my heart so happy 🥹 This is absolutely a standout in the series and such a solid way to end the series! Gosh, I don't react this strongly to many books but I'm really struggling to hold back the tears. Devney Perry you've really made me love The Edens so if you ever decide to revisit Quincy, I'll be preordering so fast I'll probably sprain something!
