There's something to say about the whole enemies to lovers thing, and this book nails it, especially in the workplace. I was pretty much swooning the whole last 3 chapters, who am I? Anyways, I decided to 'read' this one after the trailer for the movie came out, and while yes, I can picture Lucy, as Lucy Hale, I feel like Josh needs to be Chris Helmsworth. Just saying. Read this if you enjoy great banter, workplace drama and some sexy times.

I want to start by saying that this one took a back burner for me for a few months, then I started it again with the audiobook, and that made it easier to get back into for sure! I love when audiobooks use different narrators for all the people. And with this one kind of being an interview style storyline, it was easier to follow. While I enjoyed the story, dealing with the struggles with an oddball singing duo, one POC and one Brit, and the fact this was being “written” by the daughter of the drummer that had an affair with Opal, made it interesting for sure. But, I found there was just too much unnecessary info, and it was kind of all over the place. I found myself thinking, okay, who cares about “blah blah blah”, let’s get on with the story. But I will say the main gist of the book had what it needed. Great background of the main characters, a build up to a big event, the description of said event and then the fallout afterwards. A lot of people enjoyed this one, but it just wasn’t for me unfortunately.

I really liked this book, and I think I liked it even more because I watched the show before. The show is more involved with more characters, which I totally understand why it was done that way, where this book is only The Duke and Daphne, so it's quite lovely! I can't wait to read the rest of the books, but do I wait for more seasons of the tv show... The toughest question of them all. ;-)

Don't get mad, but I'm kinda glad this is over. I really didn't like Eadlyn in the last book, and still didn't really connect with her in this one either, even though she becomes more "lovable". I don't really have more to say about this... haha. If you've read the first 4, should definitely finish with this one, but it wasn't my fav by any means.

Let's start by saying how much I enjoyed the narrator of this book, I could listen to her for hours! Now onto the storyline. Alice and Leo are finally making a permanent step and moving in together full time in London. A big change from Alice's small town cottage she's loved for years. But Leo is hoping that the house in a gated community, called The Circle, will help ease her into the London Life. That is until Alice finds out about what has happened in the house that they now live in. And can you really trust anyone behind the closed gates of The Circle?
While I enjoyed the story from the point of view of Alice, with little snippets into the past, I wasn't completely enthralled with it all. The whole therapist thing really didn't seem like it was the "main theme", in my opinion it could've been more prominent in the story or it could've been any occupation really. Don't get me wrong, I kept wanting to listen to find out where this was all going, but around the 2/3 mark I pretty much had it figured out, so then it was just waiting for it to all come out!
Thank you to Netgalley and MacMillian Audio for my copy in exchange for an honest review!

Well if this wasn't the perfect summer thriller, I don't know what else you want! Roz is such a great story teller, with just the right amount of suspense and the perfect page turning pace! The Hunted follows a couple looking for a fresh start at an Eco-Tourist Dive Camp on Rafiki Island off the coast of Tanzania. When they meet another couple on the way there, who just so happens to be going to the same camp as volunteers, oddly convenient isn't it? The story is told from 2 points of view, Stevie who's looking for a fresh start after her grandmother passes away, and Leo the backpacker who has, shall we say, set his eyes on Stevie, and can't seem to look away! When things start to go sideways at the dive camp, I was frantically turning the pages to figure out what is going on! And as always, Roz did not disappoint!

This was another book that I've wanted to dive into for far too long! Yay me for reading my backlist! Anyways, Greenwood is story through 4 generations of a family, and their connection with the trees. Sounds a bit odd, but every character brings something new, due to the fact that we have a lumber company mogul, a vagrant living life between trains and maples, a nature activist, a woodworker, and an arboreal scientist; so yes, they each bring a completely different point of view, which kept the pages turning!
It starts in the future 2038, where the world has pretty much descended into a dust bowl, with little greenery surviving, (which actually terrifies me, especially after record breaking temps last week). As the book progresses, we go back through time to the early 1900's where the Greenwood name begins, then travel back to the future again in the reverse order. I love the way this books was laid out, but the middle section dragged on a bit too much for me, and while another era, I actually forgot completely about, which makes me think that that part of the story needed a bit more to it. But still overall an amazing saga of the Greenwood family that I highly recommend!

I finished this audiobook yesterday, and EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ THIS BOOK! Growing up in BC, we were never taught anything about residential schools. With the over 1300 children that have been found in unmarked graves within the last month only, this needs to be learned, taught, and not taken lightly!
Five Little Indians is a fictional story with heavy truths about what happened during their time at a residential school in BC. And also how their lives were affected afterwards. So much suffering and not just for the kids that didn't make it out, these things stick with you, and you feel like you didn't actually survive! I could go on forever about this book, but just read it, listen to it, gift it, promote it! Anything to get more people to understand what happened to thousands of children at the hands of those monsters.

Quick Take
Book 4 in the series, and this one takes a jump away from the originals to their children, specifically the daughter who will be the next in line to the throne! While I didn't love Eadlyn, I found her stuck up and on her high horse throughout most of the book, but I guess that's what happens when you're raised as a princess. The book definitely gets better as it goes on, and she's going through her own selection, which is why I'll keep reading (listening) to these!

What happens when you have three sisters, triplet's actually, separated parents, and a whole lifetime of deception? Well read this book to find out.

This story starts with the mother of triplets, who are now in their 20's, finds out she has brain cancer and only has six weeks to live. But she also has a sneaking suspicion that it's not a natural cause, and that something has happened to her to cause this cancer, something that needs to be looked into. With a husband that wants a divorce, and the sisters all keeping secrets from each other, and the mother's past secrets that come out make it seem like you can't trust anyone!

That's pretty much what this story is about, trying to find out who's telling the truth, yes I get that that's what most "thrillers" are about, but in this one I found there was just too many lies, you literally couldn't trust anyone! I recommend if you love a good family drama, with endless misconceptions!
