Amazing cover! Solid book so you know sometimes you can judge a book by its cover.
Some slight twists and turns but not overwhelming and so well written. It’s in first person POV and the POV changes every chapter which can honestly be terrible in books but I never felt like I was reading in first person. And the changing of POV really added to the story!
Small romance mostly about the witch and vampire lore which I loved.

Really quick easy read. There are fun parts but there’s also some challenging and hurtful parts. Very YA so characters definitely could grow up but they are teenagers so some of them get passes…others absolutely not.
I swear I have read and seen too many queer stories where the MC’s friends suck.

I mean it’s probably been over a year since I’ve read the Delilah Green book. But of the three Bright Falls books I can honestly say this one was my favorite ❤️
I was literally crying/my hear was breaking for probably a good 30 minutes while I was reading last night. I’m not sure any of the other two affected me as strongly. And they are all such fun sapphic books but I still think this one was my favorite.
Adri was probably my least favorite character. And like Astrid’s ex fiancé was a piece of work as well as Iris’ ex Jillian but man Adri who is supposed to be Stevie’s best friend I think takes the cake for me in all these books. Honestly Ren Stevie’s other best friend was not a great friend either. Which is so frustrating but I think realistic in some cases.
I highly recommend all three Bright Falls book you can’t go wrong with any of them!

Is this was such a fun read. Super sweet and cute! Definitely had plenty of emotional parts that made my heart ache. But overall I think a great look at how challenging it can be to be non-straight and non-white in the Bible Belt and even in the “liberal” entertainment industry.
The little twist I kind of saw coming but still so good! Highly recommend

This book to a little bit for me to get into maybe because it felt slightly like you were thrown into the middle of something. But I’d say after that first chapter it comes together. For me a wish the climax(es) were more towards the middle of the book it felt they both happened every quick. But I did enjoy them either way I didn’t pick up on any of the sort of twists definitely kept me interested!
Big plus for me was the sex scenes (I think we all knew it would happen so not marking spoiler) were easy to follow sometimes I feel like authors do way to much and I’m lost! So solid scenes!
Could there be more world building…maybe but I think the author has another book in the works that takes place in the same universe! And honestly world building isn’t always for me!
