Easily one of the best histories of the 1960s New Left to date, which is saying a lot. Fernandez incorporates testimony, newspaper sources, primary documents, editions of Palante, police reports etc. The result is fantastic! I highly recommend it to anybody interested in YLP, the Nuyorican movement, or even organizing in general.
