What a great book. I don't think I've read something as sensational, dramatic, and deeply true in a while. Everything felt so relatable, especially Cal's struggle, and I think the message is really important. I appreciate that Steinbeck outright states the message because sometimes I'm bad at comprehending books. And even though this book is long, it's quite an accessible read. :)
