amazing. extremely political and had much more magic than the first book, loved it. could not stomach much jon’s storyline, it’s quite hard for me to care what happens to the wall or over it, it dragged a little in his parts.

wish there was more focus on the plot and wayyy less on the romance and shit but that’s sjm and i knew what was coming for me.

love my girl nesta, love all the world building and what this sets up for the future books. did not care too much for the romance but that’s okay because the VALKYRIES!!!! besides them & elain everyone else can go fuck themselves

AMAZING even better than book 2 in my opinion which was very good. i still have so many questions about so many things about this series which makes me definitely exited for the second trilogy.

i see people weren’t wrong about this book. really really good; LOVED the world building, we get so much more in this book and i savored every second of it.

glad so many new characters got introduced and the plot was really engaging, i had such a good time.

also the ending was wild, forgot how much drastic the last few chapters of her books can be.

how the fuck did someone actually come up with 3 books like this series and then went “yup! gonna write it now! :)” as if this wasn’t the wildest story i’ve ever read.
SO well thought and planned down to every detail. i’m terrified, i’ve had so much fun, and the ending wrecked me, then healed me, WOW truly.

rating would be a 4.5? i think? content wise it’s a 4.75 but i’ve had a weird reading experience since it took me FIFTEEN DAYS so that made my overall enjoyment less enjoyable.
