To me it is the weakest book of the ember in the ashes series. Felt unnecessarily draged out. But I love the series as a whole, so I still enjoyed it a lot.

A very nice story told again, but very diffrently. A great Idea and a very suitable read for cold winter days.

This was very hard for me to follow and grasp, as it is not told as a linear story. Nonetheless I really enjoy reading it, even if it confused and scared me .

The Ending seems a bit rushed, but of course I love it <3

There was just not that much happening, I was honestly kinda bored while reading. The system of the revolting group
(the Stewards), that the main character joins,
seems way to complex, with too many codenames, for how little they actually do. Also the characters fall flat. This book made me cringe to often and was not interesting enough to be enjoyable. But the baseline idea of the story is good.
