This was quite unrealistic and extremely fast paced, considering that everything happened in just over a week, including falling in love and moving in together, getting full custody of a child, getting a motel ready for summer guests, and visiting family... there were a lot of small mistakes and a typos, so I wish the book had been edited more, and overall I wasn't a big fan of the writing style, but it was still a cute story.

Amazing, 10/10 childhood memories. Rereading the last part of the series was definitely the most fun, I was smiling so much throughout the book and I just absolutely loved everything about it, the characters, the sweet love story, the twists and turns - some of which i remembered from previously reading the book and some which surprised me again! Loved this!!

Like the first part of the series, this was a really fun reread although the books are quite different to read now as an adult and don't seem quite as perfect as they did when I was much younger. The characters and this story will always be special to me though.

This was a really fun reread. This series was my favorite as a kid and I read them over and over again and now I decided to read them again as an adult and noticed some plot holes (like since Gwendolyn traveled to the past and met the time travelers there, why did no one take notes? How could they think Charlotte was the one with the time traveling gene when Gwendolyn visited the Lord of Saint Germain and her grandfather in the past?). Also, I now find it quite funny how this whole book takes place in the span of just a couple of days anf the whole series takes place during just two weeks but I never thought about that as a child. This series will always have a special place in my heart and I love the characters but I can now see that it has some flaws.

This was really good but, like a lot of others, I didn't like the ending and can't believe it ended that way! At times it felt a bit rushed and I liked the first book a bit better but now I'm really curious about the last one in the series! I love Evangeline and Jacks!!

This was amazing. A hauntingly beautiful and fascinatingly realistic novel about the recent pandemic and a woman living through it with her family. I related a lot to the main character even though she's much older than me and I liked the representation of an older woman with these thoughts and reflections and with trauma and mental illness, I liked how this book portrayed people who are not often mentioned in books and if so only as side characters, elderly/ retired people, as real people. I liked how strongly she cared for her children as a mother, I liked her complicated feelings about her ex husband, her siblings and her mother, I like that she learned to re-parent herself by making up a kind imaginary mother in her head. I liked reading about the pandemic from an American perspective as I experienced it in Europe and althoug  it was similar, there are also big differences. I like that the book mentioned politics and events that happened in 2020 because that story could hardly be told without those events and I related to the protagonist's reactions. I really liked the side characters and their stories as well. I read this as a stand-alone book but now I'm definitely interested in the other works of this author.

This was really interesting. Since the book is so short, every page and every scene feels really significant. There's a lot to discuss and interpret and I really like the language (my gf read this for German class so I read it with her and we talked about it). It has a lot of big themes like justice and the nature of humanity and good and evil which is a lot, I honestly feel like the author maybe tried to pack too much into such a short book and took himself too seriously, but I still enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed this although I found it a bit hard to get into at first. It ended up being a great end to the Bright Falls romance series and I really liked Iris and Stevie and found myself relating to them!
