First one was garbage, this one was just kinda bad. We're lead to believe the main guy is total badass who can take on 10 lizardmen at once, but he gets knocked out and captured 4 or 5 times in the course of 2 days. He also gets duped by 3 different characters in something like 9 double crosses. He quips more often than every member of The Avengers combined. The femme fatale's hot bod is described in detail far too much. The twist with the wraith was supposed to be a huge revelation, but landed with a thud. It's like if Darth Vader was revealed to be a Stormtrooper Obi-Wan killed a year before A New Hope. I liked the wolfman. 40% of this book is an appendix with a whole bunch of ancillary gobbledygook. I appreciate that it's not jammed in the narrative like most terrible fantasy books, but I'm not gonna waste my time on it because life is too short.

Traviss may as well have come to my house, wrote 'Halsey sucks' on a steel chair in bright green spray paint, and smacked in the head with it.
