| I love this series so much! I was also so excited to see who this story was about!! Cherry!!! She has been mentioned so many times so I felt like it had to be coming. She is my favorite human we have had so far!!
This was a fun twist where the human was the one being saved. If you are looking for a fun lighthearted read I recommend this series! The first book is That Time I got Drunk and Saved a Demon.

I picked this book up because it was in the new section at the library. The idea of memoir in verse it is what caught my attention. I had never heard of the author before. After reading and listening to the audiobook I will be picking up more of his work.
This book is not going to be for everyone. One it is poetry and two it is gay poetry. Those two things are why I loved it so much. It was real and it was raw. We follow Brontez growing up. It is candid it is real and it is raw. There is no sugar coating things.  Listening to the audiobook as I read along was an added later. The author himself is the narrator and it feels like a friend telling you a story.
There is a poem in the book written in French  and I was disappointed that in the audiobook it was not read in both French and English like it is written. It made it seem like it was translated by someone else beside the author.  I think that would have added a lot to be read in both.

I got the opportunity to read Puzzled 🧩by Pan Cooke.  It is a graphic memoir about growing up with undiagnosed OCD.

I enjoyed the way Cooke incorporated the puzzle piece into the story and artwork. Growing up there was always part of the puzzle missing. The way it is written is very accessible. This would be a great book for someone who’s in grade school still and is struggling to understand why they are feeling the way they are.

Highly disappointed in this book. A crossover was built up and it was the most lackluster crossover you could think of. The story was lacking compared to the other two books in the series. This book was like falling face first on cement except that might have been more fun then reading this book.

I do not recommend reading anything by this author. They presented as someone they are not in a harmful way.

This was a fun quick story. I thought I knew from the jump who did it.  I was kind of right. It wasn't until a few chapters in I guessed it all. It was still a fun read to help catch back up on my goal.

This was just not for me. It is a fast pace story where a lot happens but in so little time it’s hard to develop a lot of the plots.
