I loved the cozy fairytale vibes of this book so much, the word choice and the book in itself was gorgeous Plus the little illustrations were an extra little treat And Fred’s redemption arc? I love it, it wasn’t forced and it made sense. The whole thing is a literary masterpiece and a very easy page turner.
For what the book was meant to do, it was a very good novel and well written.
I also consider myself a not-very-squirmy person when it comes to reading, I’ve been able to get through a lot of gore and even write some. Even I found myself horrified during parts of the book. Not for the faint hearted.
On a completely unrelated note, I kept mixing up the title with Not Even Bones(which in my opinion is a very similar book) and have made mashups such as Not All Bones.
Basically, I recommend it, but only if you’re ready to find yourself very concerned and horrified.
It might be long but it is SO WORTH IT. I wanted to cry, die, and fly into the sun, but it was easily the best finale to the series we could’ve gotten. Thank you, Sarah, for this killer ending.
Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

I will always enjoy Jennifer Lynn Barnes’ books, and this one is no different. Naturals spoiler: I will say, I’m so glad she chose Dean because Inheritance Games trilogy spoiler: I was very upset when Avery didn’t choose Grayson. This is the redemption of the romance I never got to see.
I will forever and always love Marissa’s books, and this is another one that did not miss the mark. I’m also a huge DnD nerd, so this book was absolutely perfect to tickle my nerd brain. 10/10 highly recommend and will be rereading again.
