If you enjoy beautiful story telling, Koren Mythology, and Korean Folklore this book is definitely for you. It may be slated as a YA novel, but as a adult over 30 I enjoyed it immensely.

I was reluctant on reading "The Song of Achilles" and have eyed it on my tbr list for quite some time, but finally decided to pull it out and read as part of a reading challenge for the month of June.
I'm glad that I finally read it as I enjoyed the complexity of the characters, the story line, and the Greek mythology mixed in throughout. I am, however, disappointed a bit in the ending passage as I feel that it could have been a bit grander.

This is the 4th book in the series and honestly my favorite one so far. There were still some random thoughts/actions, but it was written so much better than the first 3.

I decided to read this book after reading The Face on the Milk Carton and it left on a cliff hanger. This installment was a bit better than the first, but it had some graphic lines about what the Springs want to violently do to certain people. It was so random and did not really fit the full feel of the book. Was it worth the read? Yes. Am I going to read the next installment? Yep, sure am.

This was my 3rd or 4th reading of "The Secret Life of Bees" (it's been at least 10 since I read it last) and once again I was not disappointed. I first read this book in high school (2007) and have kept this copy since then so it is well loved as it has moved to and from college with me, to 4 different appartments/houses, and has been handled by at least all 4 of my kids a handful of times.

The Secret Life of Bees is definitely a read that'll stick with you for years after you finished.

I originally planned to not read this book due to its popularity and me always seeming to not agree with the majority about book, but I'm glad that I decided to give it a try!
It was filled with love, sacrifice, heartache, passion, and finding your "True Blue" when it comes to the ones you truly love.

Decent book, but a little hard to stay focused on. I will say this is one of the few books where the movie is better... And it takes a LOT for me to even say that as I 99.9% of the time prefer the books.
