There were parts to this novel that were very poetic. I actually went into it very hesitantly because I was told of a part that could be triggering. I got to the part, and it wasn't bad at all. It's about World War 2, so it is sad in nature, but there are funny bits and happy baits and cute bits, but it's just a great read.
