It's written pretty well; I only noticed one spelling error, which isn't bad. It's very short, and there's no real story to it, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. If you want to read some decent porn without plot, this is with checking out.

It's written pretty well, the smut isn't half bad, and I only noticed a couple typos. If you're in the mood for some entertaining PWP, give this a shot.

I'll add a note detailed review later, when electricty and internet both get restored, but I can't think of a bad thing about it right now.

Just don't make this into a movie.

Super cute, quick read. the illustrations are absolutely adorable, and the story has a certain charm to it. At first I was thrown off by the bear's insistance on being friends with the seal because the seal isn't having it at first, but I think the seal starts to warm up to the bear towards the end, so the story ultimately won me over. I love the kinda-but-not-really subtle representation of the P that falls under the (+) of the alphabet soup community. One could also make the argument that there's representation for the A in the community, since the bear doesn't seem to really want to mate with the seal, as much as he wants to protect them.

If you want to see cute illustrations of a bear and seal chilling with each other, than this is worth a try.

I finished it in the car ages ago, actually. It should not have taken me so long to read it because it is such a good book, but man, work really is a time suck.

Not gonna lie my favorite part about this book is the romantic aspect, but it is really well written and I didn't expect the twist at the end at all. Definitely give this one a read. If you're interested in the Victorian Era, serial killers, forensics, or just Jack the Ripper specifically, I think you'll really enjoy this one.

I had a pretty good idea that I was going to enjoy this because I really enjoy the anime. I've been in a reading slump for a few weeks, so I just wanted to read something quick that I knew that I would enjoy, and I figured the safest bet was Black Butler.

Just like I assumed, I did really enjoy this and I plan on continuing with the manga series as well as eventually finishing the anime. It was entertaining, kind of lighthearted at certain parts and it didn't take itself too seriously, but also wasn't overly cheesy. I actually think this might be a decent introduction to manga because the art is good, the story is intriguing, and the panels are easy to follow without having to actually have experience reading manga. I have read manga where I have difficulty following the story because the art is too hectic or the panels are really odd (Ouran High School Host Club, anyone?) and this was nothing like that and was honestly just a joy to read.

It's a good second volume. I forgot about the Ripper section.

It's a little weird, a little awkward, but I kind of dig it.

The art style is awesome, and I think it really brings life to the characters. I'm interested in the story enough to read the next volume and see where things go. I'm definitely mostly interested to learn more about the lore in this universe and to also see where the relationship between the two main characters goes.
