It was really interesting and entertaining. He went into detail about how he figured out how to forge checks, and what the numbers on checks mean.

I got this book in a giveaway here on Goodreads.

The book is really interesting. It kept my attention which isn't the easiest thing to do. Even after setting the book down for a while, I would want to pick it up again to continue on with the story.

The book follows a scientist named Manaka that creates an AI android that she names Einna. The story follows them, and how Manaka helps Einna assimilate into the human world. I think it's a pretty good story, and it's a cautionary tale about technology, specifically artificial intelligence technology.

I really liked this book and I plan on reteading it sometime this year. the writing was well done and graceful, the. characters were unique and rich, and the story itself was moving and powerful. This book was published at a time when we need it the most and it reminds us that we've come a long way and still have a long way to go.

It follows a black mother searching for her daughter and a young white girl who lost her parents. Read this. you won't regret it.
Spider-Man/Deadpool, Vol. 1: Isn't It Bromantic by Joe Kelly

This was definitely an interesting re-introduction into the world of comics. I enjoyed it quite a bit even though some parts seemed harder to follow than necessary because there were almost jump cuts in the comic, but it's nothing that you can't glide over relatively easily. I definitely like the idea of a friendship between Spiderman and Deadpool, so I'm intrigued and will continue reading after I finish the novels I'm reading.

I was really excited to get this book. The cover is beautiful and I thought the synopsis sounded great. However, I started reading it and I instantly felt like I was starting a college course 3 weeks behind everyone else. The writing, while well done, is really formal and kind of confusing and I might enjoy a more challenging read in the Fall or Winter, but it's the middle of the Summer and I really just want some fun quick reads. I couldn't get into this book at all, but I really appreciate having the opportunity to read it, having won it through the Firsttoread website.
Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist by David Levithan, Rachel Cohn

I stopped on page 122 because I just can't tolerate Norah. She seems like a typical manic pixie dream girl to me, and she's just pretentious and irritating. It is worth reading, though, even if only for Nick's chapters. I would like to own a copy some day, basically just because I love how David Levithan writes.

I ended up not finishing it completely because I got bored about halfway through the book, but it was interesting for the most part.
