This book is just a letdown.
Being a major fan of geography, this book intrigued me. Taking place on the remote island nation known as Kiribati with a moral story? Don't mind if I do.
But what I ended up with was something that treats the island country as a joke for it to make fun of instead of an actual setting, extremely rude characters that make it difficult to tell who exactly the good guy is supposed to be, pure absurdity that just didn't hit in a comedic sense, and overall painfully unfunny jokes that rely mostly on shock and sex humor.
If you want to read the good aspects, just look for the name "Neil" and read those paragraphs, besides that you aren't missing much.
