Genuinely an amazing book! I’ll admit it is a little cliche which is part of why I rated it 4.75 instead of 5. Other than that it was near perfect. With the love triangle aspect of the book, in the beginning I really couldn’t figure out who I wanted Lily the be with. Which is strange because usually I would immediately know who, but I think me being confused is what made the book so good. It was really obvious towards the end, (because the book was coming to an end) and I feel like it was something that everyone is happy with regardless of what they thought of in the beginning. I thought this would be a cheesy romance but it was so much more and tackled so much real world problems and ideas. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the lack of diversity. I saw little to no mention of people of color, mental illness, disabilities, etc. which really disappointed me. It was a good book, a great book, but with representation, it would have been perfect.

I’d give this book 3.5 stars. I finished it pretty quick and it was good for a y/a murder mystery book. The death and any other violence wasn’t graphic and it wasn’t a dark book which made it a comfort read, despite what it is about. I liked the end half much more than the beginning half though, the beginning was nothing new. It focused so much on things that seemed irrelevant like high school mean girls and crushes. They ended up being somewhat relevant to the ending but of course I didn’t know that while reading it. I loved the ending though. It had me changing who I thought killed Simon so many times, i really loved that.

Amazing book!!! Omg five stars all the way. I think it’s my new favorite book. I think the one thing that made this book 5 stars instead of 4.5 is the multiple points of view. One of the main characters is cold and nobody ever knows what is going on in their head so having this multiple POV made me feel for the characters and understand them, even the ones I thought I would hate. It’s an incredible book.

It was a great book, I’d been looking forward to reading it. It’s a pretty fast read, I finished in 2.5-3 hours. I really liked the plot, but it wasn’t as intense as I had hoped. There was only one really intense, edge of your seat scene, and maybe another scene that was a little similar. I would’ve liked it more if there were more intense and surprising scenes. But otherwise, it was really really good.

I was really debating what rating to give this book, and ended up marking it up solely because of the ending. Don’t worry, I won’t say any spoilers. But it is a slower book. I kept reading it because I knew, somewhere, it would pick up. And it did, the last third of the book. Although I wish it were a little more intriguing in the beginning, the ending was absolutely amazing and kept me on the edge of my seat. It was crazy! If you watched and liked the movie Single White Female, chances are you might love this book!

A great book for kids around 9-10. I read it as a kid and continue to read it when I want something nostalgic but really interesting. It’s THE book that got me hooked on mystery and it’s an absolute favorite.

Nostalgia!! This was one of my favorite books as a kid and I get emotional thinking about it. If you have kids around 10, I’d highly reccomend this! It’s something even adults will love.

If you are debating reading this because of the movie, read the book first. I read the book when it first came out on Wattpad snd I’m so glad I did! I love Anna Todd but the movies are not the best and didn’t do the books justice! This is a fun book with fun, exciting ships and a bonus, it’s a series.

Amazing! I found it on Wattpad a long time ago and got the physical book as a gift. It came out before the amazing movie split, but if you like that movie, there’s a chance you’ll love this book! It’s crazy intense and so interesting

Great book! I first read it young, around 12-13 years old, but I’ve re read it recently and it’s still amazing! It’s a light read, you could probably finish it in a day but it’s so good!
