Okay flew through this book. I’m not kidding like I read this book insanely fast but the ending was so disappointing to me!! We waited the whole book for them to together and we don’t get anything else of them being a couple. I was so upset. I thought there was going to be more of them actually being in a relationship and doing couple stuff. I felt like the ending was really rushed and I wished we got a little more.

Man what an empowering book! I picked this up thinking it was about a Mexican person (since I am Mexican) but I was pleasantly surprised when I found out he was Filipino! My boyfriend is Filipino and he was born and raised in the Philippines so he speaks Tagalog! I loved reading all the Tagalog words and saying them to my boyfriend who would translate everything for me (even though it was already translated in the book). It definitely enhanced the book for me and I think I enjoyed it more because of the connection. Even without out It was an amazing beautiful written book that will live with me forever. I will definitely be recommending this book.
