I'm not sure who this book is for. As a fan of the Bright Sessions, it felt slow to just be reading things I already saw happen, again. However, for people who haven't listened to the podcast, they won't be as invested in the characters and may not like the lack of strong plot, and open ending on the AM issues. Overall, it's an okay book but I'd recommend just listening to the podcast instead or before reading.

This book is a wonderful memoir on the personal lessons and philosophies learned by working in death care. I love Caitlin's other works, and reading her books gives me much further insight on her individual experiences, and things I may face pursuing death care.
Though the book in general is good, as a friend of mine put it, it's just a little dated. For example, Caitlin calling intersex people "hermaphrodites", constantly pointing out people's race when that doesn't matter, or the discussion of her mental health (including a very near suicide attempt) with no content warning. This book was written in 2014, so I definitely don't see this as a reflection of Caitlin, but do be warned of that going into it.

This book was a great introduction to zines, though if you are more into digital design, you'll want to find a secondary resource. It definitely inspired my own WIP zine, but the digital aspects of it are being learned through self teaching. Over all, this book is a good primer, and a great place to get ideas you may not have considered.

A cute and dramatic love story. Though I would've loved a warning about the content in this book. It both describes and visually depicts CSA and it's emotional aftermath.
