Although E. Haynes nailed the suspense/thriller genre on the head, there are quite a few missing pieces in the storyline. I did enjoy the dual timelines (past and present) but I think the author placed so much focus on Cathy's Obsessive Compulsive Disorder that other key factors in the story and character development got overlooked.
