Not much emotional investment. I heard somewhere (I think from Dr. Mike) a theory about what the human might be dealing with, but I may stick with the anime.

This has the same kind of rush and intensity that the anime possesses. An enjoyable reading experience.

This book will make you infuriated because it’s true. I had to take breaks because of how much anxiety and anger this book sent through my veins. If you’re okay knowing about the harsh cruelties capitalism brings about in our country, give this a read. And if you’re wanting to live blindly, give it a read anyway.

While this book had some fun ideas, I think some of these are a bit far fetched to pull off in an every day setting. But overall, there were some nice tips. I just don’t know if I would recommend this to anybody in particular.

Some of the books by Who HQ tend to censor the actual truth, but this one didn’t seem to hold back. Not that it had any reason to. Most people don’t try to hide the horrors of WWII to push their own agenda, not like the Civil War, Texas War, Trail of Tears, and others. This reminded me of the reason I like reading Who HQ books as an adult. It’s bite size history in easy to understand, but interesting stories. This one was no exception. I knew very little about D-Day before reading this except that it took place in Normandy. Now I know quite a lot and I’m very glad that I do.
Graphic: Death, Gun violence, Violence, Blood, Murder, War, Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Genocide, Gore, Antisemitism, Grief, Mass/school shootings
Minor: Suicide, Medical content
It’s WWII. I feel like this book should not be your intro to the topic of WWII. Readers should already know a bit of what to expect.

This is possibly my favorite danmei series thus far? Mo Xi and Gu Mang have my heart and soul. I love them so much. And Li Qingqian is an amazing villain.

This book is already phenomenal, and then the narrator for this audiobook just improved it so much more. This is possibly one of the best audiobooks I’ve ever read.
