This may be my least favorite Emily Henry book but that doesn’t mean it was bad. I struggled believing wyn was still in love with the main character and that’s my fault because I don’t trust men and I’m not quick to forgive lol. I want to give it another chance I think.

I genuinely enjoyed this book like I just kept going and couldn’t stop listening. It’s just familiar yet unique enough to be a comfortable read. The plot twists felt predictable but in a well written way if that makes sense.

I have a feeling issues with the way Rebecca Yarros handles her main characters and main plot points but I have low expectations for her and I’m simply here for a good time so I won’t dwell on them until they become a bigger issue. I love the side characters enough to let it slide for now. If ridoc doesn’t make it to the end of this serious she will be hearing from me though.
