Sabine is amazing and my favorite. I am curious to see how things pick up for her in the next book. The characters in this book were very enjoyable and yet I wish I had been able to glean more from their povs. I really only saw their actions and why they said they did them. I didn’t feel a deep emotional investment.  The most enthralling part of the story is the mystery in the middle of it all. I think the characterization, the tension, and the humor could all be improved, but it was still good.

It kinda took me a while to get into this book and the world again but once I did, I was fully engrossed and obsessed. I’ll have a much more lengthy review on my instagram, but I won’t stop thinking about these characters or what is coming next in this book.

I wish I had like belly more but that’s probably my fault for reading about a 15 year old girl with a crush on an 18 year old. She was pretty selfish and unaware. She was very concerned about things 15 year olds are concerned about. That being said I like the characters. Jeremiah and Cam are lovely. I wish I had seen more from Laurel, belly’s mom. I could tell there was so much more to her that we didn’t see because belly was so caught up in her own trivial ideals. Susannah was also lovely
and I found myself crying whenever we interacted with her because I could tell what was coming.

Overall it was a good relaxing easy read and the setting was my favorite part. It made me feel refreshed in the way going to the beach does.

Ok this book was so suprislingly good. I’m so used to the recs from booktok being so poorly written but this wasn’t! I barely felt like I was reading something on wattpad (no offense). The banter and wit were so good I found myself laughing out loud at the descriptions and writing style. Bree felt very real to me and the characters were so enjoyable. The romance was so fluffy and cute and I loved it.

Dean and allies relationship didn’t affect me as much as the last two books. They’re both hot and both cool so there wasn’t as much fluff as the others, which is what I thrive off of lol

It was ok, I hope it was good autism rep but I’m not sure. I liked the characters but the conflict was hard for me to handle

Felt a little too overdone as a fantasy world but I really enjoyed it anyways. The romance was great and the characters were ok but they could’ve been more compelling. Felt just a bit shallow but I enjoyed it

This was not good. Flat characters. The writing style really dragged and nothing about the story was very likeable

This was a bit over hyped in my opinion but still a fun read for sure. I love the fake dating trope and enemies to lovers. I often want the enemies to lovers trope to be carried out with a bit more finesse tho so it wasn’t amazing. Nevertheless it was a fun read.
