Honestly, this book just felt really slow and drawn out. I was into it at the beginning, but since this book was read on my Kindle I didn’t realize how long it was, and I felt like I just kept waiting for it to end. I thought about DNFing but I pushed through, but I sort of regret it. The ending felt totally rushed and inconclusive because there’s a second book, which I don’t feel like taking the time to read. I thought the plot was an interesting concept, but the book ended up feeling like a YA and I didn’t love it.
