I understand this was a novella, so it couldn’t have been long, but it was still lacking for me!! Had potential, but the sports side made little sense, and how did he have 50000$ to just hand over but not enough for a ring??

cute holiday read, him being beamed into his favorite holiday movie was such a strange/unique premise but it was fun! The candy cane scene was ALOT lmao

i want to shout about this book from the rooftops. the writing was so beautiful. so evocative, it felt like i was looking at a painting. 

the most lyrical writing style I’ve experienced since Madeline miller. I just feel wrung out. the sapphic love story we all deserve. such a beautiful love story, blue & red are never going to leave my thoughts.

It was good in the beginning, but then just felt like fluff. The conflict was solved way too easily, and she got over her trauma sooo quickly. Plus, i wanted more grumpy Ellie, i hate that she turned into a giggly mess like as soon as she accepted him back into her life. And she had such an opportunity to be this big ole badass, but then is wimpy. Idk. Plus having him burn someone alive at 12 is a little much. 

There were just way too many people to keep track of, and it was impossible to keep all the plot lines down. Had potential, didn’t deliver.

super cute, loved that they both were looking for something small but that it turned it to so much more. Dick is the worst. I hate him. I’m so glad Damien came into the picture love that guy. Love the PINK and the dedication to being the “cool aunt” overall, super fun, loved it.

super cute!! Loved that the girls were such a big part of their relationship. Having the elf on the shelf be the catalyst for their relationship was hilarious. Such a fun, quick Christmas read.

Surprisingly sweet???? I am ridiculously obsessed with Shane & Ilya lmao. The secrets are killing me but I’m glad they’ve sort of figured out a way!

super entertaining, read it in a couple of hours. Wasn’t as good as it could have been though, there were so many things I felt could have been more fleshed out (the relationship with his dad for one) but it’s was good!!

going back into panem felt like coming home, the hunger games was my favorite series growing up, and has continued to be a favorite as i’ve gotten older. 

suzanne collins does a masterful job of using imagery and symbolism to show coriolanus’s descent into the beginnings of being the cornelius snow we know and hate. 

coriolbutthole is the most self-centered evil pos i have ever had the misfortune of reading about. it was a masterpiece. i hated him so much??? he just got worse & worse as the story went on, but it was so subtle i almost didn’t realize the amount of change he had gone through. 

this book was seeped in nostalgia, but i think its the one hunger games book i don’t know if i will be able to reread anytime soon. he made me so mad. 

10/10 recommend. he sucks. tom blyth is way too hot to play him.
