This was a really cute Scottish read. Perfect for this month. The characters were charming. Such a hilarious combo of a cozy coffee shop,  grumpy sunshine MMC , family trauma, a goat , same sex love, an obsession over power washing, and a hidden secret talent. It was so cute.

I fell in LOVE with this story so much so that I didn’t want it to end. It was beautiful. The way Poston does paranormal romance is so beautiful and poetic. Iwan is a blessing it’s kind of refreshing to read the girl needing to figure out her life. Restaurant romances are so romantic. Love show all the pieces/ storylines fit together so incredibly well. With dropped easter eggs for what’s to come throughout. I just truly enjoyed this read and can’t wait to read more. ♥️

Didn’t enjoy this. Listened on audio. The performances were 5/5 but the story? Big ick. The narcissism wasn’t explained are warranted and seemed to be “understood and allowed” which is so unhealthy and big ick vibes. A pissing contest at Banners expense too. Really hoping book 3 will be better

This is prob my second favorite book in the series. I loved everything about it. You don’t see much “pole” recognition in books and the second chance here was done so well. I loved this entire series. 5star read for me

Ummmm def check your triggers! I thought this was going to be a sweet dirty basketball romance. But no no no no no. Lots of SA and numerous other things. Dark stuff real stuff. Very sad with a HEA tho. I don’t read the back of books so I went in blind and whew. That was a ride. I feel like I went through 10 years. This is a story that I’ll def remember. Onto Block Shot!

Oh my gosh. Holden on to a piece of my heart with this one!!! Book 3 is the Red Zone Rivals series and I’m loving every page of it. This book was so heart felt and raw. So much pain, loss, and trust within this story. I love a good golden retriever man. Broken and out back together. Juliep (such a unique name) was so beautifully written. Love that she was a pole dancer but used as a fuel to help get through her trauma. I even got whisked away with the ending. Finding it hard to top book 1…but this just might have done that. Onto book 4!!!

These characters are MESSED UP. I really started to loathe Nick and his controlling narcisstic ways…but then Noah started aggravating me too. I’m obviously hooked and will have to read the third book but these two are so gross for each other. It’s all forbidden infatuation. With so much miscommunication it’s nauseating. The tension is palpable. Like a train wreck u can’t look away from…interested to see how it’s going to come together in book 3

This book was not it. I love the Creighton character. I love a broke  man. I even love a good dark romance with CNC…but this made me feel icky about 80% in. There were zero redeeming qualities and this would have been a book I would have been completely fine with a non HEA ending. This was not it for me and didn’t even compare to God of Malice.
