It's a better story than book. There are wonderful parts and some beautiful writing, but I wasn't captivated by the characters. They were all so close, just not quite there. It made the book a bit sluggish. I also waited for an explanation to the 'sickness' that never really came. All in all, it may not stay with me forever, but I'm happy to have read it.
